I don't like putting something on my eyes, that's why I wear glasses and not contact lenses. I would love to wear AR-enhanced glasses, but contact lenses?
And wouldn't it be simpler to implement this technology into glasses (bigger surface) too?
In a school, you're permanently confronted with other people and ideas, so you can develop your own view of the world by examining and choosing different subjects of knowledge.
At home, your parents teach only what they know themselves and you'll teach the same knowledge to your children and so on. There will be no evolution.
The thing with the IE security settings really bugs me. I have to use Opera to download at certain sites, because IE and FF won't allow it, whatever I set the settings to. To be completely independant of IE is one of the main reasons I use FF, why change that?
I recently got a MOV file from a 5D Mark II, which played fine on a Macbook.
I tried to play it on a Windows machine (I don't own a Mac) and I only got a "-2048" error that "QuickTime doesn't understand the file format". I tried installing every codec package I know of and used different players (Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic, VLC...). I did the whole thing on different PCs without success.
On some forums I read that there are problems with playing HD QuickTime under Windows. Does anyone know a solution how I can play that file under Windows? Or at least how I can convert the file to something playable under Windows.
Well, I'm one of these people living in a mud hut and when the pigeon carrier network is lagging or out of order, I like to use one of these fancy new "Internet" connections or use these magical "speaking sticks".
Thanks. You just broke my internet!
I just rolled up this entire site!
Great for getting rid of troll comments!
I don't get it either.

Homeschooling is like incest for knowledge!

Jurassic Park? The aurochs went extinct in 1627, so it would be more like Medieval Park.
"We do what we must, because we can."
No! Not Helvetica! Don't they know the dangers of a possible Helvetica Scenario?
Didn't anybody brief the pigeon? Perhaps it was a bird scientist?
This amazon article's comments are nearly as good as the Tuscan Milk one's!
At least they use babelfish! I would translate HomePowerplant with 'HeimKraftwerk'.

I agree. I've been using that server for a few years now and it's great.
There are languages in which "Bing" is slang for "prison".

Voice-to-text is great if you speak English or another language spoken by at least 20 million people. If you're part of a minority, not so.
Go, Luxembourg, go!
On November 5th and December 8th, Wikileaks leaked some BND information. On Devember 8th, the ISP ended the contract. Coincidence? I think not.
Captain Obvious to the rescue!
... 4) PROFIT???
And all the soda cans... and ashtrays... and...
And it's the fourth of July in Luxembourg.
CNN?
Sure you can. You'll have an almost infinite amount of time to contemplate it ;)
Build dams and dykes and stay safe.
Ever tried building dams and dykes around 1190 small coral islands? Look at this picture of Malé, the capital: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Male-total.jpg Is it still worth living there with a 10 meeter dam around your city?
