Video, Ethernet and sound are more geared for the home theater market, where Blu-ray players and TVs are more commonly becoming hooked up to the internet. The less cables to run, the better. Even HDMI is gaining Ethernet ability.
Actually YouTube seems to keep the source file that was uploaded, because they were able to go back and re-transcode everything when HQ (h264) was introduced. I'm sure if they need to transcode to Vorbis it'd take a while but they could do it.
Just 3G coverage? Where I live they make some MVNOs look good. You're lucky to get EDGE here, otherwise you get some pretty consistent GPRS at least. This is a 'major' city, too, we even have actual AT&T 3G. I don't think we'll see good T-mobile coverage here for years.
From what I read (outside of TFA) Google itself wasnt really hacked, just that Gmail accounts were broken into (which means their passwords were dictionary'd/guessed/phished).
You've never heard of broadcasting something live AND recording it to tape at the same time? (Thus providing proof to what would otherwise be a one-time broadcast)
When I bought my HTC Fuze for AT&T off Amazon, it only cost $100, but there was a $250 charge from Amazon if I canceled the contract within 6 months (not actually the ETF), and a $275 or whatever charge from AT&T if I canceled the contract within 2 years (the ETF). Google is giving you a bigger discount on the phone, otherwise it'd cost $350 more by default. So what? This isn't anything new, non-carrier resellers have been doing this for a long time, everyone is just complaining because it's Google doing the 'reselling'. (And they are, since it's HTC's hardware)
I believe there was talk of the hardware working on the PC, too, though the hardware is pretty much just a few cameras and other sensors, leaving it up to the libraries on the Xbox or PC to do the processing. Now, if Microsoft releases an SDK (which is in their best interest, if they want PC integration) then it shouldn't be an issue.
Since you own the 09 version, can you tell us how many people are playing right now? I'm willing to bet with the 2010 version out, the number is so insignificant that it's not worth keeping the servers running anymore..
StarForce is the one that breaks disk drives, not SecuROM. At first I was going to protest that Oblivion doesn't even use SecuROM, but apparently the Game of the Year edition does.
I was rather amazed too, and I'd certainly love to thank all of these people that work on the floor at Amazon for making it possible, I ordered a Wii and a few games for my family on the 23rd, and had overnight shipping for the 24th. And thanks to Amazon and UPS the package got there on time, and we got it wrapped up for Christmas. All I had to do was click a button, it's rather amazing.
I think the CLI is the real strength behind.NET, even if C# is a good language - as we've seen with languages like IronPython, it's possible to work even other, already existing languages in with the.NET world.
Mod parent up. There is a certain amount of reserved bandwidth for emergency calls, and an emergency call being trunked will drop normal calls on the tower to let it go through.

But it's a Nexus One! A Google phone! (whine, complain)

"Why are there six pedals when there's only four directions!?"
I've had Hotmail set to only accept mail from the people on my address book since the Junk folder was introduced, and spam STILL gets through.

They tried selling us an extended warranty on a Wii Nunchuck accessory. It's just getting ridiculous.
Second, I doubt Apple would ever allow any of their new products to be overproduced.
Phew, for a second there I misread that as "I doubt Apple would ever allow any of their new products to be overpriced"! Had to read it again.
and global warming will mean no more shoveling of snow.
Tell that to my driveway!
Also: I dare you to predict the end of Primer.
Now that's just mean!

Until you automatically think CTRL+Enter in your mind, then you're screwed!
I'd have a harder time getting it to just type "Mayo" instead of "mayonnaise" every time.
Or you'll get your arm and leg torn off, and your brother will have to live in a suit of armor.

Splinter Cell? I think there was a spy/sneak game that let you do this. MGS?

According to this page it's supported in C# 2.0, unless I'm misunderstanding what you're after.
public void SomeFunction(T someValue) where T : ISomeInterface { } (or class) works fine.

Only routinely? You must be new here.
