Yeah, it is funny that the company with the most intimate knowledge of the operating system (because they wrote it) can keep writing updates, isn't it? Strange how that works.
Apple could have come out with a phone that could not have any apps added to it at all.
Er.. you do know that the iPhone didn't support apps at first.. right? (And it was very silly, given all the now obviously visible potential) It wasn't until it was jailbroken did they come up with the App Store.
Google Docs doesn't really count on Android, anyway, considering there's no native version, and you have to run it in the browser if at all. I think there's DocumentsToGo but I don't know if it's any good or not.
But I can play 1080 content on my laptop just fine even though the screen is nowhere near that size. Two things - video out, for one, but not having to scale down from 1080 in the first place if it's your source is also a plus.
I take it that you believe that the Ipad is just a large Ipod with additional functionality?
It is. Same OS, same type of processor (ARM), same application development environment, same application set, same store restrictions. How is this not a bigger iPod Touch?
If they had used leaked code, Valve's legal department certainly would have killed their company. They licensed the Source engine, it's just that when HL2 was first released, it was buggy, and only Valve had the knowledge to get it working properly, rather than a 3rd party developer.
And if you think a show like Neon Genesis Evangelion is for kids, you have more mental problems than Shinji.
More like, this is what you get for not formatting it as soon as you get it.
That and nowadays a device that just doesn't "turn on" is a lot more suspect of poor manufacturing or a defect than intentional damage.
Which is exactly why I hope they mandate this, and don't give them any money to do it.
Can we compromise and call it Pandora's Can of Worms?
Sweet, they offer 10Mb satellite internet now?
Since when are PC games $60? You're thinking next-gen console games.
You're all PCs, get over it!

Since when do you have to connect to Live to play your games offline?
Nothing's stopping you from playing single player Xbox 1 games. If anything now nobody has an excuse not to mod their original Xbox!

I wasn't talking about a generic kernel. You can still compile from Google's copy of the source just fine, it's no less visible.
Hardly. Nobody's forcing you to run their binaries on your phone. You can still compile the kernel and other applications from code, forked or not.

it's probably better to just look it up, than to loudly proclaim what you don't know.
Sorry, you must be new h...

Well.

Oh no! What about jQuery?
There's too many to choose from! And I'm not even sure which ones are just being sarcastic!
An A4 is an ARM just as OMAP and Snapdragon are. ARM is a licensed technology.
Everyone knows Google doesn't do hardware. Dell, however, is making an Android-based tablet.
I take it that you believe that the Ipad is just a large Ipod with additional functionality?

I think your sarcasm detector is broken, you really should get it looked at.

It's still misleading. Why did the interview with a developer dry a Buytaert?
