It's not new. Even the sequel is a few years old. And Super Mario 64? There comes a time in each gamer's life when his list become too long and some things have to go.
I can't think of a single game I've ever played with a "generically plucky artist." Perhaps you're thinking of Photoshop Hero, a game which is in fact fictional?
It's also something you notice after a while, but almost everyone else at Apple kind of behaves the same. Always upbeat, hip, and very passionate. That sounds horrible. I for one would take a low salary to avoid working at Stepford Corp.; don't play everyone acting the same as a positive.
But they stick it to the little guy! If you ask me, the underdog wins too much these days.
Making money was never their goal. It was always to strike fear into the hearts of pirates. But since pirates are pretty good at RIAA countermeasures, they have to settle for striking fear into the hearts of children, old ladies and dead people.
Have you had a bad experience with cable locks? In my experience, they're pretty secure, and if people in your office have such sticky fingers that a cable lock is no deterrent, you should quit working in a crack house and get a different job.
However, assuming you don't go cable lock + locked drawer:
The convenience of just sticking stuff in a big metal box is appealing; have you considered building one yourself? It doesn't seem too difficult if you can find access to the tools.
Leet speak is a great way of "encrypting" passwords to be both easy to remember and hard to guess. And, bonus, your child knows Leet! They'll be so popular!
Just teach her the basics and have her set the password with a 1337 version of a word she remembers.
As a student at Duke (undergrad in computer engineering) let me say that the campus *isn't* all wireless. All the dorms have wired connections; only one has all-dorm wireless and it sucks. It's critical in the sense that I won't be able to sit outside McDonald's or in my lectures dicking around on slashdot, but the campus won't really come to a halt because iPhones are screwing up the WLAN.
About damn time, I say. The sooner this is up and running, the sooner we can establish a couple of... Foundations to safeguard the future of humanity. By accident, mostly.
No doubt this system was proposed by a General Hari Seldon.
I believe that the Da Vinci machines are being used in some limited settings on regular human patients. Specifically, my father is a private practice urologist and I'm pretty sure he's been performing Da Vinci prostatectomies (removing the prostate) for a year or so.
The Basic stamps are great. My university uses the line to teach the intro to electrical engineering course. At the end of the class, there's a obstacle course-type design competition using the Robotics kits parent mentioned.
Those are great, by the way. Extremely easy to build and capable of a great range of autonomous stuff. Excellent sensor package options, too.

That statement is getting sigged.
Yeah, that is a ridiculous description. No one uses TCP for real-time work, which is the only time a lost packet would be noticeable to any end user.
Don't worry. Prince of Persia II Super HD Turbo: Third Strike! is coming out soon.
Damn you! Now I need to go back to TVtropes and see if anything has changed! Aaargh!
Like a balloon and ... something bad happens!

But they'll still be vulnerable to attacks with proton torpedoes.

Wow, with the first post you're already referencing Hitler. Impressive.
We discuss important things? I missed that memo.

Insightful? Really?
For real. It's those Demomen that are the real terrorists. Where's the investigation into black Scottish cyclopses?

Yeah, because there are no patents on things humans can do. Like count. Or play chess.
I guess it's time for the government to bust out that Ansible project they've been sitting on since the first Bugger War.

I agree. Given the sales records and what the future looks like for Sony, the FA seems a little naive.

Yeah, I thought for a second that I was the only person who thought "Predator" when I read that.
Here are the findings of your study: Young people use the Internet TO LOOK AT PORN. 50 million dollars, please!
