Exactly the problem. This time, nobody will stand up because it's a bunch of sites for perverts. Set the precedent with something like this, then move on to other targets.
I'd rather the perverts continue to talk about whatever the hell they talk about, and they get held accountable IF they break any real laws.
They are a BBB member. What I find shocking is that there haven't been many complaints registered.

Perhaps it's time to start registering complaints with the BBB for companies like this.
It's on it's way. Service Pack 2 for XP will provide exactly that, along with a number of other features that are going to make other software houses cringe. Personal firewall and antivirus companies are going to see a drop in sales I'd imagine. I can only hope this doesn't lead to a false sense of security for the average PC user.
These are going to be security tools provided by the same people who wrote the operating system that seems so insecure in the first place.

Manuals that actually explained functions would be great, in contrast to the large legal "if you are as dumb as a brick, do not ingest this part of our product" disclaimers that we get now.
Wow, I really was expecting this award, I mean, thank you so much! I'd like to thank my parents, for letting me live in their basement, jobless, for the last 4 years. Sure sometimes they got on my case, but all my hardwork and dedication has paid off. I'm sure the sight of my award bring tears to their eyes, just as it does to me.
I'm sure they will gladly pay SCO's "licensing fee" for each and every CPU they run linux on. Hell, they'd probably pay the full price, not the 50% discount. And why?
Because when It comes time to add up the TCO, guess what gets tacked on?
I picture in my mind, many gleeful hackers and an overwhelming wave of new exploits, that might in fact cause more people to switch to Linux
The other possibility there is people see the new wave of exploits as proof that opensource makes it easier to come up with such exploits (rather true) without considering the fact that open sourcing anything isn't going to make it secure overnight, open source stuff can be more secure because time has been put it doing large scale peer reviews of the code.
A closed source project going open doesn't get that advantage right away. And in that time frame, stuff will be pulled out of the source, and I could see that easily being interpreted as a fault within opensource development in general.

I've come across something like this up here actually. It's obviously workable, as these guys have been doing it for a couple of years now.
It's legal to take the stereo out of the VW, and sell it to a friend, pawn it, or put it up on ebay.
