The whole point to "Retirement" is to enjoy what life you have left after 40+ years of hard work. Why quit your job only to live barely within your means, when you should be able to live like you currently do?
Really sad to know that the network you help designed is doing well? I disagree. I'm not out to attack anyone, it's just the fact that I like knowing what's going on.
How about picking someone who actually has some benefit other than "Well I'll grab these voters no problem" How about putting the country first? (As Obama said)
I'm sure many others think this, but I think his strategy is to gather the Hillary voters....It's a bad strategy if you ask me because he simply brought her on just to win the election...which is just stupid.
I work as an IT Admin, if I was let go or hell even fired, I would like to keep tabs on my network. I might make an account in the background with admin rights so I can see how the new guy did...See if the exchange store is still mounted, check the SAN and so on...
Sorry I might be straying slightly off topic. It's just...being replaced you feel like part of your territory was taken over, and you want to check in on your baby (network) and see how it's doing.
Did you ever think that the reason they do this is so when shat starts hitting the fan in China, no one will be able to cry out because they will have no communication with the outside world?
No one will do a single thing about it as long as they can watch their TV shows.
People need to stand up and defend their rights, but unless it derails their daily lives, nothing will change.....I hate being so negative...But you know it's true.:-/

Final Fantasy Online (11) already has this. PC gamers and console gamers already play side by side.
And let me guess, a fellow member of the 250 forums? Nice to see you to.

The same way any other American can....Vote.
Man wants his money back for a license he did not want from a PC purchase.
Microsoft says: "Sure but you keep your fscking mouth shut when we do this"
Guy said "Eat a box of shnausages"
Guy publishes an article about his experience, gets the money anyway but not from Microsoft. /I think?
They all get modded down.
For most visitors, the comments you read in articles are the more mature ones. I see Slashdot as more mature than Fark/Digg/Engadget etc....
I've also been a fark reader for years.
Slashdot is supposed to be a mature community with articles that pertain to important items.
Visitors to the website will see this because they don't have a "Setting" to adjust.
I believe that this doesn't portray what Slashdot is about, and I think it needs to be moved off the front page.
Now chill....

I dunno...Just a thought.
Isn't this known as pagefile.sys?
Why not put up a poll?
1. Delay launch but have x feature
2. Proceed with launch date and remove x feature.
That way you can get a feel of what the majority of buyers want, and their decision can be based on what the consumer wants.
So Microsoft is actually listening to it's customers right?
But I still think we will have plenty of MS bashing here...
I for one and glad that they are "attempting" to provide what people want.
I wish I would have jumped into this thread sooner.
My company has about 60 employee's local, and about 30 remote.
We have about 25 Windows 2003 Servers, and 4 Linux Servers.
I am the network administrator, and I have my Director of IT, and Software Developer.....That's it.
I'd say we are under staffed in the IT area.
What do you propose I do about it then?
One man vs a nation doesn't get very far.
Hell even the Ron Paulinites that marched to Washington that day...Thousand didn't even make a budge in the government.
Did I go? Hell no cause they scare the f*ck out of me.
Well how you you propose we handle it? Sure we can all become apart of the political community, but let's think realistically here....
If a mass protest couldn't pull it off, then yeah...I wouldn't mind seeing that. Heaven forbid we take back what is ours right?
Nothing.
That's right, nothing.
No one will do a single thing about it as long as they can watch their TV shows.
People need to stand up and defend their rights, but unless it derails their daily lives, nothing will change. ....I hate being so negative...But you know it's true. :-/
Because your vote doesn't count, nor does it matter.
I hate being such a negative nancy, but it's true.
But would they is the question.
What is the FCC going to do...Send another strongly worded letter?
Seriously, I want to see something actually happen for once.
Find an internet cafe' and see if you can rent it out. Most cafe's will let you for a fee.
Have everyone pitch in a few bucks and you should be fine.
Theres a place that lets you do that here in Dallas.
Can we keep the Idle stuff off the front page?
