LIES. This court has a higher percentage of 5-4 decisions in the past 10 months than have been ruled in the past couple of decades. Sheesh, don't just call bullshit, do some research. This is one of the points usually covered in the news reports about the last 6 decisions that have all been ruled 5-4.
You don't push a release from "2008 to 2009". Wow, that looks bad. Say, instead, December 2008 to early 2009. (since you were "aiming" for december anyway).
A whole year? Sheesh. Please don't bring up Spore again until Bush is out of the whitehouse please.
Ha! I tried this during the beta phase, and I rolled a minstrel also (because of the unique play mechanics), my wife said the exact same thing.. along with "doesn't that little tune get annoying every time you cast it?"
"so, you are attacking with... music?"
"Your bright red pants and pointy hat... Gay."
That, or at the very least make the guitar silent, nothing like hearing the song + missed notes + *click* *clack* *click* *clack* as they button mash and strum. Real guitars don't click!!!!
How would that be condusive to "playing the game"? Users need feedback from the game, or else they'll just get frustrated and say "see! It's not even picking up my strumming!" Would you rather the DDR5extremerushrevolution version of a huge "MISSED" popping up and taking up 76% of the screen? For the last time, it's a video game, meant to be a video game, not playing the guitar. Anyone who wants to play the guitar can, this game is meant to mimic the fun of playing guitar, without the years of practice. Just like FPS are the fun of running and gunning with no real training, Building RTS bases with no knowledge of military strategy, and doing outlandish things that you can't do in real life (like playing the guitar with no practice).
You forgot one
Intel joins the fray, OLPC can no longer get enough countries to sign on for the project (due to worries about the new intel machine), making the mass production price of $100 unattainable, OLPC drops out when they run out of money.
Intel, in using Windows and their massive R&D team finally concludes that $100 is too cheap, and decides it's not worth it to their "stockholders" to continue the project, and they drop out also. Everyone loses.
The single player consists of no AI, no objectives, and is played on the same maps as the multiplayer levels. While some fun can be had running around in circles, we find it hard to justify the purchase price compared to games that offer hours of interaction and direction.
Uh. I think the joke is lost on you. Get it, He's running around the Multi-player levels alone? Funny? No. This is what counts as game jounalism?
Thanks for showing up C. Did the RIAA lock you up in a high security detention center, perform tests on you and burn your flesh off? And wtf are you waearing a guy fawkes mask?
Ha! I love/. If this were windows, the tags would be "defectivebydesign, haha", and everyone would be making fun, and parent would NOT be modded "informative". Modding parent informative is silly, because everyone on/. knows "technology breaks when it gets old".
It was first comics ("omg, Batman and Robin are teaching children to be homosexual and antisocial"),
It started earlier than that, with people writing books about how "Stories to drive you MAD!" will destroy your children. This is a comic that came out years earlier, and was later turned into Mad Magazine.
So, if we can make certain aspects of PS3 open to the independent game development community, we will do our industry a service by providing opportunities for the next generation of creative and technical talent. Now having said all that, we still have to protect the investment and intellectual property rights of the industry so we will always seek the best ways to secure and protect our devices from piracy and unauthorized hacking that damages the business.

What a bunch of PR speak about "having an open community" and yet killing it all at the same time.
"Things Fall Apart; The Center Will Not Hold"... Yeates.
Everytime i hear about these shootings, the "terrorists" seem a little further away in a less relevant place.
..money is taxed at every step where it changes hands?
Yes, but we are not exchanging money in MMO's. If I create electrical blueprints for an architecture company, and then send those off, that doesn't get taxed, right? The money I make to do such a service does, but not every time I provide the blueprints. This is just silly.
I agree. My money i spend to play is already taxed. The only thing that is Real world taxable should be if i sell my characters, and even then, it could be considered self-employment, and is tax exempt for any amount up to around $4,000 (iirc).
So, the FDA has never approved a drug that's killed anyone? Boy i'm glad they are there.
I'm not saying that faith-healers are a good thing, they aren't, but I wouldn't count the FDA as the be-all end-all.
all i have to say is, give me one reason why any child, regardless of what economic status they come from, shouldn't be able to get medical care.

Well, as long as the developer has their hearthstone going, the bubble collapse should not affect them.

I hereby order you to bring in your computer monitor, to see if we can recall any images that appeared in it, and get IP addresses that way!

Oh boy, I wish i had mod points. +1 funny. I think i've learned more about Hell on the History channel than i have about WW2.

This (I know it's a bit late) is the last straw. RIAA will never get another dime from me.
I don't know why, but this makes me more sick than anything else i've heard the riaa do.

I believe that fell under the "4. Blow shit up" section of the show, after they had proven that a person couldn't cut through the barrel.

Two small reasons why they want you to use IE.
Noscript and Adblock
1. Uh, an anti-M$ story making it to the front page surprises you? You must be new here.
2. I, for one, welcome our new pirate overlords.

Ah, an article about ads in Flash vids, and we've gotten around to M$ Windows Bashing.
There's no place like home/.
This is sad. Cat's Cradle instituted a real shift in my life, and he will be missed.

HEY! Over here! Al Gore uses fuel and air conditioning, therefore, global warming is fake. Please, stop listening to Sean Hannity.
