    go please and look at what india is doing already in solar. they don't want pollution. look at New Delhi's air recently. They are jumping on solar as fast as they can.

    I am an asthmatic. Smokers breathe filthy air into my face cause me coughing spasms. Why should I have to put up with their habit when they are injuring my body. it's not like alcohol or drugs where it hurts them. Smoking almost always hurts other people directly.

  9. Don't worry. all the other car makers are getting into electric cars. Musk's goal with Tesla is to save humanity by getting us off oil, and that is mostly done now. He can safely let Tesla die knowing that he achieved his goal.

    When a human transcriptionist makes a mistake you can usually work out what they meant. When Speech-to-text (STT) makes a mistake it is often gibberish. So objectively it is "better" at transcribing, but subjectively much worse.

    What';s different now is that we are depleting the seas of fish, hence reducing notrogen, phosphorus and iron, not to mention the biological impact. I hope we don't see in the next century life in the sea consisting of low energy jellyfish, because there is not enough bio-energy in the system to sustain more energetic creatures.
    What we are seeing is real, unprecedented and will cause many human catastrophes.

  18. and with the keepass files in dropbox, my passwords are auto synched to my wife's laptop and vice versa. Pressing CTRL-S on a password file synchs it. and with dropbox and minikeepass on my iphone they all synch to my smartphone.

  22. What about apps that have permission "Access location always" instead of "access location only when active". I would like to think that force quitting them will stop it pinging.
    I also have apps that download large files in the the background (e.g. podcast) and sometimes I want to prevent that.

    The 12th doctor was a mad man in box. The 3rd wasn't really in a box - he was an eccentric in a yellow car. I could go on.... and we have no idea what the 13th will be. What does this have to do with SJW? - Is the movie Wonderwoman about SJW? - I don't think so - I see woman being empowered and that is good so. 3 Afghan teenage girls from Herat are flying to the US for a robotics competition. An Afghan woman is flying solo around the world - that story got massive attention by my three teenage daughters. Today's female teenagers are seeing nothing standing in their way. Just step back when they come at you. The won't need SJWs to protect them, you will when they trample you. My great, great aunt didn't need a SJW when she was the first to get a science degree in the state in the 1890s. [btw, I am male]

    Doctor Who was always political and contemporary. Even The Green Death from 1973 has political overtones.

    Don't welcome this - this is not a good development. In a functioning democracy there are appropriate channels to get permissions and make things happen. In a dictatorship lobbyists, diplomats and sycophants try to get the dictator's ear and his yes to get whatever they are seeking for. The US is turning this way. Companys already know that the way to get Donald's attention is to make Fox talk about it or be the last person in the room before he makes a decision. This is not going well. These Afghan girls should not have needed a presidential intervention to get in to the USA - it is a sign that the rule of law is falling apart.
