What about those Kirby games? The last one I can remember is the N64 version, which was pretty bad, at least IMO. The only place you see that guy anymore is in the Smash Bros games.
Would you rather be tortured for weeks, only for the people torturing you to kill you regardless of what you tell them, or would you rather they just kill you right away? Believe it or not, some people would much rather have death than an indefinite amount of pain.
Who said I was a Sony-boy? I own a 360 and a Wii, and would never buy the PS3; it's just not interesting. I was praising them on their QC practices, which obviously, I've been misinformed about.
Troll? That's an ignorant mod. I was merely stating that for all the flak their getting from the PS3, they managed to fix a back-compat issue faster than the current console leader. It says something for the efficiency of their QC staff.
Not to be a troll, I'm honestly curious. Do they mean 512 million "unique" users? And is every user in the bad 22% a unique user?
It could just be the same 100 people making the same, stupid mistake 512,000 times.. I mean, it's unlikely, but my point remains: are they inflating the actual numbers?
TFA doesn't actually say anything about them releasing another MMO. It's just saying that their next game isn't going to be in the Warcraft universe. Also, the guy just said the next MMO they make (he didn't say if they're going to make another one or not) won't be another WoW. Duh. That would be foolish. WoW 1 attracted more than 8 million players, WoW 2 will only bring back the people that canceled their accounts after playing the game for 5 years.. maybe.
Another virtual pet? You know what this reminds me of? Bonzi Buddy, which was simultaneously torturous, defective, and ridiculous. These guys better know what Bonzi Buddy was, and what it did wrong, otherwise I predict yet another annoying, computer-voiced animation.
Also, with a large band set-up, wouldn't that make the single-player aspect nonexistent? Otherwise single-player mode would be.. Guitar Hero. Or Bass Hero.
This is very true and aggravating. It's doubly worse for the PC world. Computer graphics and performance are increasing exponentially. Instead of using these expanding resources more efficiently, by adding new features or enhancements to already great game design, PC devs instead use up as much resources as possible.
This is why all the new PC games have "Minimum 3.2ghz 1024mb RAM" on the box. It's downright wasteful.
..a new StarCraft game. It's been a while since I've seen anything that isn't WarCraft-related come out of that company. I know I'm not the only one that's eagerly awaiting more SC news.
Also, one other point, a lance is much different than a bullet. The lance has constant force behind it (the horse and rider) as opposed to a bullet, which only has the energy for one push. As such, a lance is much harder to stop than a bullet.
Ah, see I'm not big into handhelds, so that would explain why I don't see him very much anymore.

Have you ever put tin foil in a microwave? It doesn't look too.. um.. wearable.

Now I'm flamebait. Guess that's what I get for posting the first reply, huh.
Good point.
Typical anon post.

They got to it faster than MS, I've gotta hand it to them.
So do a few other people. However, I would be quick to accept that less than a third of the playing population is even old enough to marry.
Also, on a completely different topic, World of Warcraft subscriptions have exceeded 8 million.

Touché.

Clippy!? AAARGH! Die, foul demon!

Would it be considered wishful thinking to cross my fingers for a Scratch Hero complete with turntables? That would be amazing!
I don't thinkthe Swedes are really classified as a "broader audience".

The difference between freewaring the base version, and open-sourcing it, is that you can add your advanced features to the open-source.

I, for one, welcome our new solid light overlords.
