    Everytime you use a technology, there is a risk associated with it. There are dangers everywhere in life today. The only way to be safe from dangers of modern technology would be to go back to the stone age. Cars are awesome!, but we should stop using them cuz a lot of people die due to car accidents every year. Why do we still use them? i wonder. It has not even been proven that WiFi is bad for health and people are already afraid of 'em. I don't think anybody is afraid when they turn the key in their cars. Maybe BBC should show a program on road accidents instead of something soo less dangerous.

    Intel® Celeron® M Processor 340 [1.5GHz] + 192 RAM.

    I tried putting Ubuntu on this laptop, not much success, almost didnt work with that.
    Then, I started using a lightweight linux, which worked fine.
    Then, I tried WinXP Pro, works good on this machine. Not excellent, its workable.
    koolest thing -> I can play counterstrike!

    I am from the future Google is not supposed to ally with either Apple or microsoft. Google will be a standalone thing in the future making its own OS and becoming sooo successful that it will buy apple n microsoft to establish a monopoly!! Google CEOs will have enough money to buy several contries. Dont worry guys... alliance is impossible... unless google is like stalin, allying with competitors and then getting rid of them... it'll be kool to see google do that.

    We can see where the company is headed after this event. My guess is that some other company will take over from Radioshack. I want GOOGLE to take over Radioshack. This will cause soo much agitation that even Microsoft and Apple will start to work together against the king of searches.

    if you read it closely, it is not exactly the normal tweezer you and me use(not really.) its kinda like throwing an atom somewhere, instead of actually lifting it and moving somewhere. you cant guarantee that it will land at the same target all the time.

    The study i would say is a failure and totally biased against firefox. It should be all "yes"s for firefox.

    1) In firefox you cannot make "favorites buttons" but you can make "bookmark buttons" its the SAME THING!! i do it all the time...

    2) Also, if you get the extension, you can make the browser remember all the tabs that were open on the last session. I HAVE DONE IT!!

    3) There is an extension for searching torrent sites for firefox. i am sure after this study, an extension for bittorrent client is on the way...

    In short, Firefox Rocks!!

    that is not the only thing they do. there would be no point in making such huge investments if astronauts just went for a long drive around the planet. Different experiments are conducted once the astronauts reach up there. The complexity of these experiments has also increased with time. that is true no matter when u were born...

    lol... so true. yea seriously, the government is making it seem like it is a heavenly thing, can't be hacked or affected by any virus. But actually it is not different from any portable electronic device that uses radio waves or whatever. But then again, everything is vulnerable and we have to take risks in everything. govt. should do extensive research before implementing it openly. good point.

    As far as i know there has not been a single case of bird flu in humans in india. However, mass chaos resulted when bird flu hit the poultry industry. This research might've resulted from that. So, i am not sure if they have tested it on humans... since there haven't been any cases.

    US needs to intensify the outsourcing of the MEDICAL INDUSTRY AS WELL!!!

    The defense system also tracks the shape of travel path of the object. My friend has worked on a similar thing. They specially work on differentiating between other flying object and missiles. This prevents them from shooting down a bird. This is a kool Star Wars thing and pretty useful... unless you put explosives inside a bird...
