Until the next gen memory chips start getting integrated, or some awesome nano tube tetraherz processor gets released, we have reached the more than good enough for 99 % of the population. And thank God for that, we don't need any more heaps of tech landfill as the multiple new generations of phone/tablets quickly obsolete themselves.
I would go one more, If i call in a false fire alarm, and a fire truck, while lawfully going through a red light, accidentally hits a car who didnt hear the siren, killing the young family in the car, am I not ultimately responsible for their deaths? Anyone calling in a swatting should be responsible for not only any deaths, but the civil suits that will fly after. I am in no way excusing the excessive force used by the police, but the swat caller set in motion a chain of events that led to the whole murder.
They have already moved past this, you don't need pumped hydro or railroad cars with concrete blocks in the back to store excess energy, you just need a large vertically suspended concrete or lead block that can slowly descend with gearing to a generator, takes up minimal room, can be scaled easily, and is currently being tested!
You would be surprised at what can be accomplished with brainwashing and a gun barrel at you/loved ones heads, 99% of NK may be ass backwards, but the 1% that have education are..well, just as smart or smarter than you are, plus they have MOTIVATION, whether that is internal or externally applied doesnt matter.
Isn't this what Android L was supposed to do?? Unify all the low spec devices out there? If my aging memory serves me correctly, they specifically mentioned 512Mb also as a target for minimum spec
Hmm, not a Linux power user by any stretch here, had complete opposite experience, a free donated cobbled together Tosh core 2 duo, let Mint installer run, everything works, including a canon scanner that had lost MS support after XP, old colour laser.. same deal, works with no hassles. So for every bad story, there is a positive one also.
I was stationed in Idaho in the 80's, on the way back from camping in the mountains we were traveling down a pitch dark dirt road for like 30 miles late at night, i looked up and told my friends to pull over , they were like why? We pulled over, shut off the lights and when our eyes finally adjusted, there was the milky way, and it was breathtaking! We all climbed on the hood and lay back on the windshield for an hour, just mesmerized by all the stars, best trip ever! You don't realize how much sky youre missing until you see it from a pitch dark location, this needs preserving!
That this was more than a couple emails to family when working late hours, it was 10 years ago, so ya Blackberry's were out, Iphone just getting started, if it was just a quick email saying hi to brother across the country I would be tempted to have some sympathy for the guy, but appears to be flagrant abuse.
I beg to differ, they hid them in the best place possible, the MS App store! Guaranteed to not be seen by anyone! I would have posted this on my Lumia 635, but as the browser keeps crashing, as it's ALWAYS done, had to post my Mint laptop.
the fan made series are better than glossy network produced shows. The latest episode of Continues was spot on with a plot that left Kirk between a rock and hard place holding to the prime directive, or saving an entire race of people, well worth the free. (as in beer), viewing. https://player.vimeo.com/video... This labor of love is by far the best spin on the ST universe.
We have the same problem, Zathros liked his email address, my brother Zathros liked his, my other brother Zathros wanted to keep his also, our law firm Zathros, Zathros and Zathros was a mess for email , Sheridan was most displeased!
Used to love watching F105's taking off at Nellis in summer, Booom! Water injected would add X amount pounds of thrust to get the lead sleds moving fast....
I service a few accts that are abattoirs, numerous pc's and printers that live at 0C,( 32F). All work is done situ, if a big job is required, the units get pulled out, left unplugged for 2 days, work is then performed, units go back in, unplugged for a day, then fired back up when acclimated. Humidity and condensation are the killers, the PC's need power supplies every few years, the big printers last 3-4 years before rust finally takes it toll. Cold air is supposed to be dry, but with the amount of people ingressing/egressing makes it a cold, humid environment, I can't say I recommend it:(

Was thinking the same thing,
Form over function, not such a big deal with laptops, Uhm, with architecture, not so much!
