  2. I had a project that used the term "slave" for a process in a pool of processes that were assigned jobs, but I change it to "worker". It made very little difference to me and if some people were happier with that terminology, then fine. No need to be an asshole.

    I founded a successful software company that I sold after 19 years, so I have shipped code. Agile is a satire written by drunken programmers on a lark that accidentally got taken seriously.

    BBT hasn't been funny for at least nine years. Just watch one of those YouTube videos of BBT with the laugh track removed. It comes across as pathetic and creepy, not funny.

    I guess nobody must be demanding pay equity, if we all get what we demand.

    You can get women's clothing with decent pockets, but it takes a fair bit of searching. eshakti has good-quality clothes, some of which have decent pockets.

    As someone who recently used the Canadian Healthcare System, I call b*******. Our Healthcare System is in good shape and cost us less than the American one costs Americans.

    The US health care system doesn't work. Americans pay far more per capita for health care than Canadians and have worse outcomes.

    What does socialism have to do with Canada? In case you weren't aware, Canada is essentially a free-market capitalist society. Oh sure, we have universal health care, but that's just basic decency for an advanced industrial society.
