I too am sick and tired of the overabundance of leftist narrative and agenda in media these days but wasn't Star Trek always filled with progressive leftist viewpoints? I liked the new discovery the only thing that stood out was no cisgendered white male in a major role (kid of sexists and racists isn't it?)

We are not talking about bacteria on a Petri dish but bacteria that is in a human body, which has an immune system that does not take kindly to foreign objects, beneficial or not. So for these custom bacteriophages to work they will have to kill their targets faster than the immune system would kill them. Kind of reduces their effectiveness IMHO.

It's not always about uniting the public through an external enemy. Sometimes it's just finding an excuse for those hyper-expensive defence programs. IMHO China isn't there yet with its military hardware, while Russia which is putting out new military hardware and making a big noise about it (maybe some exaggeration included), it just what the doctor ordered.

From wher do you get your facts? Ukraine is an importer of gas and oil. Coal they do export but that's not what this discussion is about. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... . Has it really come down to creating facts to support your viewpoint on a country?

The problem with U.S. Russian relations today is that there are too many people like you making decisions with regard to Russia. This "alienation of Russia" foreign policy only hurts the weak opposition that there is to Putin. You, neocons, are more his lapdogs than anybody else today, providing him with an easily identifiable enemy so that he can appear as the protector of the Russian people and Russia's interests.
