I just upgraded from 2gb to 4gb on my MacPro. Didn't get 4gb when I got the PC cuz it was 800$+ for 2gb more, a year later bought it from 3rd party for $200.
It's not the crashing that sucks. It's the fact that I have to buy a brand new uber computer to get the same performance that I get from my 2 year old box.
Like regular DVDs, it's up to the studios whether they have unskippable commercials or not. Some blu-ray does, some does not. Can't blame that on the medium.
Really surprised noone mentioned bat sonar

I thought one of the most ridiculous parts of the movie was the bat sonar at the end. I can buy that they developed a special cell phone that can do that, but when Batman turned every cell phone in the city into bat sonar they lost me.
I don't know about you, but my iTouch has had multiple free updates/bug fixes since I bought it (1.1, 1.2 etc). Paying $10 for a major upgrade is a pretty small price- remember when we first got our iTouches we all knew 100% there were no apps, and were told they weren't coming.
We bought touch screen iPods, not PDAs. The software has evolved, and we can choose to turn our touches into something new for a small fee.
But the jailbreaks were the result of security vulnerabilities that could let others mess with your phone. Why shouldn't Apple "block" those holes? Even the original jailbreak patched the.tif exploit after it did its work.

Tip #1: DON'T BUY BATTERIES FROM SONY.
Tip #2: see tip #1.
I think once a console gamer, who is used to rumble feedback, plays a new console without rumble feedback, they will notice. Having that vibration that lets you know you drifted from the road and up onto a curb is really critical when you are flying down a city street at 140mph, trying to avoid cars and powerline poles.
Does anyone really believe that our next president will really change things? Will he reverse this? I do not think so.
Both parties want the same thing in the end, which is to control us.
Life just keeps getting worse outside Hometown U.S.A.

"It's called your electric meter" Where do I get one of these magical "e-meters"?
Why should they have to pay more if they are already paying for "unlimited"?
If this was to go through, it would pretty much mean the end of major sports games competition, eh?

In Rolling Stone Radiohead stated they made I believe $2.30 on the average, which is more than they received from traditional label record sales.
"For me, Trebuchet. The OS X firewall solution is too simplistic" Are you saying Windows Firewall is the ultimate firewall for Windows then?
Just curious, but what was Google's mistake in China?
Star Trek 5 is the 2nd best Trek movie. 4 was the best. What does God need with a starship?
Go look up how many F-117's have been shot down during deployment, and you have a clear answer about stealth, and how great of a feature it really is.
