Both is and is not see the blurb from wikipedia. The USPS is often mistaken for a government-owned corporation (e.g., Amtrak) because it operates much like a business. It is, however, an "establishment of the executive branch of the Government of the United States", (39 U.S.C. 201) as it is controlled by Presidential appointees and the Postmaster General. As a government agency, it has many special privileges, including sovereign immunity, eminent domain powers, powers to negotiate postal treaties with foreign nations, and an exclusive legal right to deliver first-class and third-class mail. Indeed, in 2004, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in a unanimous decision that the USPS was not a government-owned corporation, and therefore could not be sued under the Sherman Antitrust Act

because its pretty much guaranteed that the suing companies are in any way based out of HI. and cloudflare certainly is not . so then the question becomes what standing to they have to choose that specific location. if they had picked one of the states the suing companies are based out of, or one where cloudflare has an office it could still be argued over standing, and those would at least make sense. HI seems like it was chosen purely out of spite, or someone has a judge bought and paid for.

Sure an AR-15 might not look like a "hunting rifle" but it shoots a .223 not unlike many other models. its accurate, dependable(so long as you keep it clean) low recoil, adaptable/customizable for differnt lengths, grips and so on. plenty of spare parts to be had. so other than "it looks scary" what makes it a bad choice to hunt with? and how much of it is, it is what that person is comfortable with? An AR-15, and a 9mm handgun are on my personal wish list, because i am already familiar with them.

If you could do FTL (ignoring the whole infinite energy requirement somehow) relative time would slow to a crawl. add in some sort of stasis during the transport, and "awake" time relative to home planet would feel like say a weeks time. with all that a trip to the barbaric planet to watch nations fight it out sounds reasonable.

oh man so many problems with this. i drove uber "part time" 20-40 hours a week for 3 years, and with over 2500 rides, i have seen some shit. Like the drunk guy who got in, did not put in a home address, mumbled something that sounded like the name of a neighborhood, and passed out. when i got to what i thought was his neighborhood, woke him up for directions, how is an AI car going to do that. Had 3 people vomit in back seat, how do you monitor that? several times a group would get in, argue over where to go for dinner, and wound our way to what seemed like 3rd or 4th possible destination. or the times the passenger is 50-100 ft down the wrong way on a 1 way street, trying to get them to walk to the car could be comical, when they have absolutely no idea where they are or sense of direction. Will this new system have something to guide the cars on where to go when have downtime, to try to be in best spot for a pickup, or will system strive for a coverage map. or just knowing the city, and which way is best, even when gps says go another way. so much human element trying to get people places when they have no idea where to go. will need at a minimum live voice chat to a human to help running 24/7.
