Depends on what you mean by most widely utilized. If you mean that most people use it, no. IE + firefox market share is way over 50%. If on the other hand you mean there are more browsers that use it than there are browsers that use something else, it seems so.
Might be, but it probably won't matter much if the human doesn't expect that the one he is speaking to could be a bot. Even geeks don't usually check to see if everyone they speak with give answers in contradiction with asimov's three laws of robotics.
As a later commenter suggested, the use of passively insulating earbuds (such as in ear monitors) or actively insulating ones (the ones that try to make noise that cancels out background noise) would help.
And Windows is on a majority of smartphones around the world.
Excuse me, which world might this be? Nokia is still the largest smartphone vendor in this one and none of its phones use windows. According to wikipedia, the windows market share on smartphones is only 12%.
And "Linux on the desktop" is far from a rotting corpse. Relative to windows and osx, it's not big but in pure numbers the amount of users is growing all the time.
Actually, I think tablet pc:s usually have 256 pressure sensitivity levels. Not sure about your tx2500 but at least my lenovo x61t does. The apparent lack sensitivity layers is probably due to bad configuration or cheaply built pen.
I'm really not very informed on this stuff but parent seems informative. Why is it modded down? Is it just plain wrong or is this mod point abuse in action?
The problem is that people easily read over spelling mistakes as if they weren't there. Less mistakes end up in the final version if all of it were done by hand.
Apple's Safari only comes with the iPod touch and the iPhone and cannot be used with normal phones.
Yes, that's right, that's why Nokia's phones all use it. Wait, no, that's not right.
You're right, it isn't. The Nokia phones most certainly do not use safari even though nokias browser does utilize webkit, the same rendering engine as safari and chrome. Webkit != safari.
No, I believe the gp did mean heppa as it's finnish for horse. He was talking about natural cooling solutions wasn't he? Can't beat a horse scrubbing out dirt and dust out of data centers when it comes to being natural.
Why is it that every time someone makes a 3D browser they insist it is the worlds first 3D browser? Maybe there are some trivial changes, but they have been out for ages. I remember ViOS or something like that from almost 10 years ago. It was supposed to be this revolutionary 3D internet/browser thing.
It's probably because no one cares about them enough for anyone to know they even existed.
I also happen to play games on linux but linux only. I've tried playing games on wine with varying luck but it's a small loss not getting a game to work as there are plenty of others to play.
I like magnatune, lets you listen to the music with descent quality befor buying it (in vorbis/mp3/flac/wav) for a custom price of which 50% goes to the artist. You're also allowed to share the music with a couple of friends.
I don't really see why people view Linux as an alternative to Windows as it's really an entirely different beast. Most of the people (me counted) I know use Linux because that's exactly not wat they want to use, not just a free alternative to windows.
Using Linux instead of Windows because it's free is really no reason at all because, as previously stated in an article posted here, Windows is free (http://articles.tlug.jp/Windows_Is_Free)
The problem with a mood_level as high as possible as the object is that the AI could just use its amazing calculating power to set mood_level to its maximum value. Gaining mood_level increments can never be the ultimate goal (not at least, a sane one).
We humans try to obtain higher mood_level because that works as a meter of how well we are doing in reaching our objective (passing on our genes). 'Feeling good' is just an indirecv objective.
I agree that Linux doesn't need two desktops. It needs, and has, more.
Most of the people will always just stick to the most popular few but there are quite a many people who don't want all the windowish bulk they carry with them. I for one wouldn't like to use kde nor gnome but if all the Linux users were forced into using something like ion3 there would be a whole lot of more windowers.
Thus, productivity can effectively be measured 1/N where N is the number of times someone needs the sysadmin during a month. If the sysadmin is never needed this woud be 1 or 100% and someone with an effectiveness of 100% deserves a raise.
If you really dislike giving up screen real estate you should try Ion3, wmii or some other tiling wm. After some time of getting used to windows not floating around the screen(s) it's really great.

It's not really the summary at fault. Seems like the whole http://www.openoffice.org/ is giving the same response.

As the parent probably tried to say, Newtons models are correct under certain conditions.

Symbian isn't an UI at all, it's an OS.S60 is one of the many examples of an UI built on top of Symbian.
Still no results. You just don't have the power in you.

... or four Indian developers for two years. That would result in much more drivers and IMO, the Indians need the jobs more than US-citizens do.
So you returned windows?

Talking of minimal languages, have you tried brainfuck?
