Cancer treatments in Canada are old though. No immunotherapy or such, still the old rays bombardments and old chemo therapies. And new meds that target the damaged cells more accurately and that are already approved in europe and USA are not approved here only because of the cost.
And even if treatments start within 3 weeks of diagnosis, what you forgot to mention, and what any Canadian knows all too well, is that it can take as much as 2 years, waiting on a list, before you can see the specialist that will give the final diagnosis and green light any treatment, when it's not too late at that time.
The resume is totally inaccurate. As Canadians, we are incapable of calling "bullshit", that's way too impolite. What we said when we saw the packages was "Oh!"
Yeah, I know, pretty strong word, eh. Shook the telecoms to their core.
Latest news : SpaceX accept to give a free flight as compensation and will offer it in the form of enough frequent flyers miles. Small prints mentions that those miles will expire 6 months after being allocated.
Even if insured, insurance doesn't cover lost revenue and delays in the service that would have been offered. That's the real hit to spacecom as building a satellite like this takes 2 years minimum.
I took a look and I can't believe companies still waste thousands of dollars on "concepts" logos like this. All but one gave me nausea so much they looked bad/dated(especially no2) and the only one that didn't isn't worth the thousands of dollars they surely paid for it, because, let's face it, we could all have come up with it (Mozi//a)
Stick with your current one, none of those are better IMO
People lie now in survey. They say what is PC, but always think and do the contrary. If they'd really think there are too many smartphones released every year, they'd stop changing phone every 6 months. I'm sure Samsung would stop releasing 35 versions of it's Galaxy line if people would simply, you know, stop buying them when their previous phone is still as good.
I was the one who developed it, but it was only supposed to infect Slashdot network as to snif out who were the Anonymous Coward posters, and if there really was human editors working at slashdot.
What about those who don't even own one?(and never will) Are we "changed" too?
And it's stupid to combine all the iPhones versions into one statistic. If we do that, I'm pretty sure every journal sold more than 1 billions editions of their papers over time.
So lastpass can be tricked to think he is on the real twitter page. Newsflash, so can a human. So the human will also enter his password on that page, no matter the password manager he use.
Smoke screen alert here. What the commission is telling Microsoft is not that they have a problem with their humongous private data collection, but with the fact that M$ won't share that data with the French/Euro government.
I don't watch the TV show, but in the comics, this was addressed. Short answer:(and I hope you realize I am now a target of potential lawsuit for revealing this plot point!!) Islands are now full of zombies too, because many people had that idea, but some brought contaminated people with them, thinking they could save them before they turned(family members, loved one, etc).
So, Wikipedia could be sued for all those books and movies entries that describes the plot? All those reviews online and on tv could also be sued when they reveal anything about the plot?
Pleeaaaaassse AMC. What complete FUD
From what I see, it schedules the upgrade, and you have to opt out by going into some other settings to cancel.
It's not that the "X" activates the upgrade - at that point, it's too late.
Still, it's very shady not to give users an obvious choice on the popup, let alone not making it an "opt in" choice.
All of my machines are running Windows 10... shrugs... at this point, all the bitching is basically all about the point of the matter. Win 10 runs fine on the machines I've installed it on (several laptops, 9 or 10 desktops, some 10+ years old). Unless you have some particularly specific niche software or hardware (that can't run in Win7, therefore, not in Win10, since the drivers are mostly the same), people really shouldn't have too many complaints.
I'd be more concerned if Microsoft was pushing people to Win8 and the crappy fail that was the Metro Start Screen. Win10 dialed it back and makes more sense in the case of a desktop/mobile hybrid OS. Still, the exec who is pushing this sort of tactic needs to be fired ASAP.
I upgrade 2 out of 3 of our coputers to 10. But the last one is our HTPC with Windows 8 + Media Center on it. Media Center doesn't exist on windows 10 and never will so the last thing I want on that computer is the upgrade. Having to go through all this non-sense to avoid the "upgrade" is unacceptable. We're not dealing with a shady company from Ukraine or India here, this is Microsoft for crying out loud! This is insane. I am totally p*ssed at M$ right now.
I always kept a small friend list on facebook(around 30, give or take) but I've been mostly avoiding FB for the last 2 months, as what was a nice way to get updates on distant friends mostly became a postboard for "not-so" funny stuff taken from website designed solely to share that stuff.
On the official Pi blog page they do specify "sold"
I think you'll have to explain what you mean by "properly"
Windows 10 can run on the Pi

Blackberry shares just went up!

Let's pass a law to force bad weather only at noon then!
After reading the summary, Raspberry Pi 3 gets no update at all, it's Raspbian OS that gets the update.
To be fair, he did called it a "mobile" for most of his argument.
Yup, and they sell for about half that iPad ;)
