Re:What is bias?
What is bias? Does "bias" mean "not a white male?"
Here is one. Google is filtering the term "Radical Islam" which is used primarily by liberals to describe Islamic terrorist organizations. If this is a real leak and not a forgery, the company is so far gone that the best solution is to send in the army, drag people out in handcuffs, and shoot them in the parking lot. For what it's worth, here is a three-year-old thread warning about Google hiring Al Qaeda supporters to write its filters. So it could be real.
Then there was the Apple chief of diversity who was fired by the board for saying that the company was willing to hire white people. So they got rid of the black woman who said that. They made clear that it is official Apple policy that they do not want to employ anybody of European descent. So there is an example of bias that permeates the corporate culture all the way to the top.
-
s/Snowflake/Muslim/
Google hired Al Qaeda sympathizers from George Soros's organization to tune the filters. Remember how 4chan turned Microsoft's Tay AI into a Nazi? Google hired Muslim right-wingers to do the same thing for their AI that will be censoring online comments. And they made it a homeland security policy so you are paying for it. And in Europe they made it illegal to disagree with the policy, and Eric Schmidt is a big fan of how they do things in Europe.
Remember: Google Is Not What It Seems

Re:It was an investment by the Chinese government
Reddit is a dictatorship controlled by one highly partisan person. And remember the kerfuffle about Chairman Pao, and the community manager who was taking orders from a Merck employee who had studied in China. More here. Get it before it slides off the board.
-
Re:Define what you mean
I've always liked the simple solution of enforcing antitrust law. If cable had to open up their network to ISPs like the phone company had to, if there were 10 ISPs in a city like there used to be in the dial-up days, the problem of net neutrality solves itself. As it is today, if you try to open a competing service of any kind the big boys will hire skiddies to DDOS you and goons to personally harass you, and the feds will laugh at you if you ask them to press charges against the FBI/NSA's preferred business partners. Nobody is going to charge Google while they are running the government's war policy.

Re:Not good optics for Reddit
There is no way they're going to prove to anyone now that any controversial moderation decision wasn't forced on them by outside pressure now.
It has already been shown that a relatively small group runs the moderation of both Reddit and Wikipedia and they have some disturbing beliefs and relationships that no one is mentioning because the MSM is not reporting on it, so it's up to places like
/pol/ and other fringe outlets to do the research and reporting. To get on topic, a certain Tom Edwards was Microsoft's head of geopolitical strategy which meant censoring products for the Chinese market. He joined the transgender cult and changed his name to Kate Edwards, then became head of the IGDA and was coordinating with the San Diego FBI to shut down alleged "harassment" of Zoe Quinn in July 2014. Note the date. When the Gamergate scandal broke a month later, Reddit was one of the forums that Shut Down Everything. Four years later, the now heavily censored Reddit attracts $150 million in Chinese investment.

Re:I find it unsettling
Roger Stone is indicted for blatantly lying before congress and witness tampering.
That would be fair if the law was applied equally, but when are they going to arrest any Democrat for blatantly lying before Congress about running arms to al-Qaeda and Mexican drug lords, giving $billions to Iran, having the GCHQ spy on the opposing party's candidates, or any of a half dozen other scandals that would have gotten anyone other than America's First Black President impeached and possibly hanged for treason, or "witness tampering" Michael Hastings, FBI Anon, the DNC's "Russian hacker", and several pizzagate investigators and sources?
There has been two years of noise about possible Russian interference in the election because Donald Trump did business with the Russians as part of an FBI sting operation that got a Russian bank sanctioned. When are they going to talk about Qatari interference in the election? Do you remember the "Safe Space" campaign a few years ago or the appearance of "Social Justice" "feminists" who never badmouthed Islam but tried to tell you that Hamas was a feminist group? That was them. Have you heard of Common Core? That was also a Qatari operation by the same people who put Jamal Khashoggi at the Washington Post.

Censorship
Censorship for al-Qaeda does not get noticed by anyone other than a few anons on 8chan. It is so audacious that no one believes they are doing it. Note the date on that post. That was uncovered two and a half years ago and no one has faced consequences, but people who talk about al-Qaeda are getting banned and deplatformed from financial services.
-
Google is absolutely, provably malicious
Google is helping al-Qaeda censor the internet.
They and their partners intentionally rig information services to control elections so that the winners won't prosecute them, they will suppress their political opposition, and they keep getting government funding.

Re:What the
What is going on with crackdown on porn and free speach everywhere.
Islam got into the government and corporate boardrooms by calling itself feminism and social justice. NATO's governments are funding the crackdown as a national security policy because Muslims riot when they see a naked boobie, Muslims riot when they see atheists criticize Islam, Muslims riot when they see uncucked Jews like the ones at Breitbart and Rebel Media, etc. Some of the government's top national security advisors are on the payroll of Sheikh Al-Thani or Alwaleed bin Talal, who also have large stakes in media corporations and social media companies. This all started as a NATO-wide response to the Utoya massacre when Anders Breivik shot up a Muslim terrorist recruitment campaign hosted by the party running the Norwegian government.

Re: Simple rules
What is it about Soros and the alt-right? I mean why Soros in particular?
Soros has a history of hiring mercenary armies to take over other countries from the inside. This is what the CIA paid him to do in Eastern Europe and Russia. He is currently doing it to the United States. When the people he backs seize power, they give him and his men immunity from prosecution for anything as thank for his support. You try to press charges against one of Soros's men for something as small as assault and the police won't even take your report, and you're lucky if police don't arrest you instead.
Why does the right concentrate on Soros? He was caught. Why does the left protect Soros? They are on his payroll. Why Soros in particular? He is a dangle, a frontman. Soros is "Open" about his activities and everything he does is branded. His allies -- the Rothschilds, the Jesuits, the captured British government, and the Islamists including al-Qaeda -- do a better job of hiding themselves, but they are easy to spot if you know what to look for. They call themselves "diversity" and "social justice." They are a mafia mixed up with foreign spies.

Google is not what it seems!
Google is not what it seems by Julian Assange. Hey, remember when Wikileaks was popular? Before they started talking about Gamergate and Hillary Clinton? Then suddenly no one followed them anymore and you never heard about them again.
As Google Spins, So Does Silicon Valley. Google trained the public relations departments of many major Silicon Valley companies. The public relations departments control what information the executives hear from the public, controlling their decision making process by proxy.
Google leaked plans to censor the Internet for the benefit of foreign powers
Google and Facebook are working "to solve one of the Internet's pervasive problem: Trolls" with Islamists who believe that any opposition to al-Qaeda is "Islamophobia"
Google Ideas Invites Online Harassers to Talk About Online Harassment with such notables as Randi Harper, Zoe Quinn, and Rose Eveleth from Shirtgate.

Re:And so what if they do?
No one is forcing anyone to use Google, YouTube, or any of the other services.
Other than Stripe and Patreon and Apple and Visa and Mastercard and the US State Department and UK Home Office.
If you start up an alternative service, you can expect to get kicked off of every cloud service provider and then DDOSed to death by NATO. Expect the backbones and satellite service providers to start enforcing the same rules that payment processors are already enforcing, and then please tell me how you can begin to build an alternative to Google when you have no network access, no government funding, and no banks will process your payments.

Just who decides was answered two years ago
Twitter is being run by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations led by Qatar's US-Islamic World Forum and Saudi prince Alwaleed bin Talal's business partners Suhail Rizvi and Jim Berk. Remember when Saudi Arabia arrested Alwaleed bin Talal and cut off relations with Qatar, before General McMaster fired and replaced Trump's entire national security council and then Alwaleed was released and things returned to normal? Ever wonder what that was about?
They were supported by the Rockefeller-aligned MacArthur Foundation who have staff on the boards of Wikipedia and the New York Times.
And hey look, it's the White House announcing a "global research and action network focused on youth-oriented hate speech online" run by the same exact people and the Muslim Public Affairs Council. But hey, it's not the government censoring you online, it's just the President of the United States whose college expenses happen to have been paid by one Alwaleed bin Talal, and his Homeland Security staff, and a front for al-Qaeda. No big deal!
These websites also want to ban conspiracy theories. I wonder why?

Re:never doubt the overall excellence of Wikipedia
This wiki thing is written by thousands of all ages and widely varying credentials. (...) Yes, it's undoubtedly true that some will distort facts to meet their obsessions. I tend to believe that most are altruistic and bend over backward to uncover unbiased truth.
Wikipedia is run by fanatical extremists who use it as a propaganda organ and who will take money to ban the opposing side of controversial issues. If they need a "reliable source" to back them up, one of them is a board member of the New York Times whose sister runs an "academic" network of openly Marxist "social science" researchers who use their students to control political arguments on Wikipedia, one of whom has the American head of Vivendi/Universal on call if they need more manpower. If they are still losing the argument, they will have the London police call the entire opposition a violent right-wing extremist group which they will cite as grounds to tap DHS CVE funds and deploy an Army psychological operations unit. We know they did that because TaraInDC used her real name.
They also pay Gavin Newsom $350,000 a year through his wife's foundation, the Representation Project. If you live in California, you may want to remember that in November if you have any concern about what kind of government will rule you.
And happening right now, look at all of the admins holding that it is acceptable to call a political opponent a Nazi by quoting a known fabricator citing a Democratic Party PR organ while also implying that anyone who disagrees is a troublemaker who should be banned. Do you see Mjolnirpants in that thread? He was recruited right out of the "academic" network into the Wikipedia admin corps because he would enforce user adherence to beliefs that did not exist before 2013.

Who decides what gets published and what gets buried?
That would be the U.N. Alliance of Civilizations, also known the U.S.-Muslim Engagement Project. Your tweets will be moderated by the likes of Dalia Mogahed and Generation Obama national co-chair Jeremy Goldberg. If you don't like it you can try appealing to the board of directors which includes Omar Kordestani, Marjorie Scardino, Model View Culture promoter Peter Fenton, and a board member of Chelsea Clinton's employer InterActiveCorp, David Rosenblatt.

Re:What liberal bias on Wikipedia?
What examples of "left bias" have you found on Wikipedia that are unsupported by sources that have earned a reputation for fact-checking?
These sources earned that reputation for fact-checking decades ago, then fired all of their fact-checkers in the 1990s and were sold off in the 2000s to billionaires who fired everyone again and restaffed the companies with left-wing nutjobs because controversy brings hits and ad revenue and foreign investment.
Many of the "debunked" "conspiracy theories" involve times when these billionaires and their staff have been caught conspiring, with evidence from Wikileaks, Soros/DC Leaks, the Mossack Fonseca records, etc. Pizzagate involved arrests for child trafficking and an American spook was killed investigating it. Something happened there. Gamergate is a smaller example. Their logs were leaked and the collusion was proven, and the collusion involved board members of the New York Times and the Wikimedia Foundation which may explain why Wikipedia is so insistent that nothing happened and still considers the NYT a reliable source after their reporters admit that they are told what to write regardless of what the facts are.
In this media environment where the corporate powers are corrupt and incompetent, there is a market opportunity for new and independent media organizations. This is why the corporations are blacklisting them and slandering them as Nazis. This is collusion by big business to shut out competition. They are putting new media out of business before they can get off the ground, when the next Seymour Hersh or Nellie Bly is still one guy with a camera phone. They are getting rid of them before they can gain a following.
Or is Wikipedia's guideline for determining "reputation for fact-checking" itself applied in a manner that shows a systemic bias?
Wikipedia's determination of who is or is not a reliable source is run NorthBySouthBaranof who you can just google to see how nuts he is, or search for his name in the gamergate forums [1] [2] and WikiInAction. He has a large group of friendly admins who ban anyone who questions his decision making no matter how obviously wrong he is.

That said, I do have serious concern with how WMF does its allocation and chooses its priorities
What's your take on the established connections between WMF and The Clinton Foundation, Feminist Frequency, The Berkman Center, and The Guardian?

Is this the same Yair Rosenberg?
Tablet's Yair Rosenberg accused Wikipedia of trying to hide information when they were proposing to merge it into different articles. He was so wrong that the Wikipedia-haters at GamerGateHQ called him out on it in their anti-Wikipedia thread. It makes me wonder what else he's done.

Re:i bet the USA is just as guilty
USA has a propaganda bureau whose staff includes the webmaster of a group that praised Osama bin Laden after the Africa embassy attacks. They directly run Reddit, Twitter, Wikipedia, Metafilter, Mozilla, BoingBoing, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, the New York Times, National Geographic, and the Daily Show. They are funded by the State Department and several Internet millionaires who support what they are doing. They are also getting money from China, UAE, Qatar, and whoever else wants to pay for their messaging and message-control services.
"But the State Department is not a state! It's a private business decision that all of these businesses made on the same day after the government told them to!" If I had a nickel for every time I heard that I would be a rich man.

Mission accomplished
Wikipedia used to be written by anonymous IPs and refined by the veterans. After ten years of banning any new user who gets into a content disagreement with the 1%, the 1% have successfully secured their hold on the site from any new editors.

Try using Facebook,Twitter, Reddit, or Wikipedia
The big commercial parts of the internet are just as heavily censored as China ever was. And what a coincidence, the censors unironically call themselves Maoists and have connections to Huawei, Tencent, Beijing Borch, etc, except for the few that are Islamists from the SAAR Foundation.
And look at this dream team: (1) (2) (3) (4) (5)
I count three Wikipedia board members, one of the people responsible for the Mattress Girl rape hoax, nine or so Democratic Party activists, an executive from the New York Times, one of the Daily Show's executives, and they are all run by a board member of Twitter who used to run Pearson, the big educational company.

Time Cube time.
These chuckleheads deserve to be flooded by demands to "teach the controversy" of Time Cube, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Discordianism, Gorean philosophy, Ebolism, and even Baneposting. How dare anyone make a value judgement that contradicts anyone else's? Feels, not facts!

Re:But Dissent is Now HATE
A popular tranny just had two of her YT videos demonitized, one that criticized Islam, and another that criticized feminism:
https://twitter.com/MsBlaireWh...What a coincidence that the two major social advocacy projects of the United Nations Broadband Commission are Alliance of Civilizations and UN Women.

Re:The Left aren't the "underdog"
The nonsense of "gender-neutral pronouns" [dailysignal.com] and "transgenderism" in general came out of nowhere â" a pregnant woman coming to a hospital to give birth claims to be a man, and is offended, when referred to as "mommy" by the nurses.
It came out of the Urban Institute's Sylvia Rivera Law Project and is being pushed by the Open Society Institute and SumOfUS and other big PR groups that work for Islamists and China. It is bullshit that a small group of communists made up to divide us by sending men into women's bathrooms and then complaining that gays are being oppressed when they get kicked out. They worked for a decade to gain the support of, or take over, all of the major gay groups, which is why the gay movement now won't say a bad word about Muslims massacring gay people. New York City hired the people who invented transgenderism to pilot the idea of fining businesses $250,000 for not complying. After no one protested, the Democratic Party pushed it nationwide because they could use the power of the federal government to fine conservatives out of business and they could use media hit pieces and threats of boycotts to make companies fire conservative employees for "transphobia" on their social media accounts.
The push for transgenderism is all about forcing you to mindlessly follow along with whatever the Party says or else the Party will destroy your reputation and your livelihood. Any dissent will be punished.

Re:Politics more crazy than US
There is a Korean guy who has been dropping info on 8chan. Do you still think of South Korea as a place for Starcraft and MMOs? Not anymore. It has turned into a social experiment to see how much government control the public will allow if the government claims that it all is being done to protect women. Oh, and the government may have intentionally sunk a ferry full of schoolchildren for some ceremonial purpose because they thought the date was special. Does it sound crazy? All of the other crazy stuff he has said has turned out to be true. One of his latest reports has Park's people flying AntiFa colors, raiding the home of the lead investigator, conspiring to assassinate the chief justice of the constitutional court, and promising bloodshed if Park is impeached.

The tool was developed by the Muslim Brotherhood
Google hired a bunch of "former" radicals to develop the tool. The goal of this project is to automatically remove criticism of Islam from large discussion forums that cannot afford to manually review their comments. The tool will be seeded with criticism as examples of "trolling" and then used to remove opposing points of view along with the trolls. This will automate a process that is currently being done manually. Twitter, Facebook, Reddit etc have been outsourcing their content review to "civil rights" groups that are fronts for the Brotherhood, Hezbollah, or third party mercenaries working for one of their state sponsors.
The Gamergate people figured it out. It will take all morning to read that but it is worth it. It explains what has been doing on all this decade and why they had to cover it up.

A letter from South Korea; THIS IS YOUR FUTURE
A politically connected South Korean anon has been reporting on this story for the past year and a half. He has been dropping more info in the Gamergate threads on
/v/ but the threads roll over and disappear, and it is all too spread out to link to in any case. -
Gamergate, WTF?
Many of the threads in Gamergate go back to Microsoft.
Phil Fish and several of his friends were part of Execution Labs with Microsoft VP Ed Fries.
Kate Edwards, who was complaining about the harassment of Zoe Quinn before the Zoe Post, was Microsoft's director of global strategy.
Sue Bohle, who planted the Anita Sarkeesian article on the front page of the New York Times, was Microsoft's longest serving PR rep.
Shanley Kane worked with two of Microsoft's former directors of open source strategy.
Microsoft pushed for the Ada Initiative which has been described by ESR as a racket blackmailing people with fake sexual assault charges.
The online rumor mill blames Microsoft Research for the mass online censorship of Gamergate.
The DMLHub links Microsoft, SJWs, and open source companies.
Laurie Racine and Cathy Casserly are financially linked to someone very close to the censors.
You have to know something. Dump it anonymously if you must. 8chan is not hard to find.

Re:Regressive Leftist?
What exactly are leftists regressing too?
Wahhabi Islam, if this Gamergate analysis is correct. TLDR: Soros is working for Islamists, the Twitter censorship is run by Saudi Arabia through the UN, and Hillary Clinton is an enthusiastic supporter of it. SJWs do tend to be pro-Palestine, make excuses for terrorism, want to cover up women, and act like religious fanatics.

Re:What I love
You should check out the gamergate page. Not only have dozens of editors been banned for edit warring, but the entire thing is a complete mess where even factual information is removed because it's contrary to the people who are pushing a narrative.[...] It's pretty sad when "know your meme" and "encyclopedia dramatica" have more factual articles.
Direct links for the lazy:
That's the same article where a dozen hardcore feminists were banned for edit warring,
Oops, you believed the Guardian. It's a common mistake. What actually happened was that one feminist editor Ryulong was banned after he was caught begging for money from the activist group GamerGhazi which was formed by Reddit's SRS clique to suppress the spread of information about Gamergate. That's like asking for money from the Trump campaign after changing the name of Hillary Clinton to "Lying Hillary." They were still going to let him off the hook but Ryulong acted like a total ass on the last few days of the arbitration case so one or two of the votes flipped.
Every other hardcore feminist editor got away with it. Then the admins took vengeance for their friend Ryulong by instantly banning anybody who reported the misbehavior of any of the hardcore feminist editors in any other area of the wiki. They also took out a bunch of the Japanese editors who tried to correct Ryulong's misspellings where this white fanboy had made himself Wikipedia's final judge of Japanese spelling and grammar and had previously banned anyone who disagreed with him. When Gamaliel got elected to the Arbitration Committee a year later, ArbCom quickly banned two prominent editors who had presented evidence against Gamaliel during the Gamergate case, Cla68 and The Devil's Advocate, without presenting any justification for either ban. It was straight out of Kafka.
Some people still mistakenly think that the adults will take charge if you stay calm and reasonable and don't break the rules. That has been tried and results in a quick and permanent ban. Explaining your own position is "soapboxing" and "beating a dead horse" and is grounds for a ban. Having strong sources to support your position makes you a "POV-pusher" who is "not here to build the encyclopedia", which justifies a permanent ban. Presenting evidence of rulebreaking by the admins is "trolling" and "sockpuppetry" and merits an instant ban, and they are likely to remove your comments and insult you on the way out. If you try to appeal your ban on the grounds that you never broke any policy, your appeal will be rejected and you are likely to have your talk page access revoked. You are required to confess to sins you have not committed and proclaim that the admins are correct in policy when they are not. The place is run by completely irrational people who belong in an insane asylum.
