    The reason there will be no competition for wow... MMO is like a monopoly once you control a large enough player base people are scared to jump off the bandwagon and try something different. The real sad thing is for a player like me....

    This is a fan site from the earlier years of Ultima Online. This was truly a game for all players before they expanded and made it cater to the people who didn't want adversity in their game play.

    If this game was unchanged from its glory days, i would pay 14.99 to play this 2D mmorpg over any other mmorpg in todays market.

    All you wow heads out there don't realize wow(the scientist) has put you (the mouse) in a little maze with constricted walls and tells you how to play, what a great game you all love... its like playing a single player RPG with codes or a player guide... where is the fun in that....

    Yeah it's not like warez groups wouldn't spoof, right? I can see it now... someone finds out Gabe's IP and spoofs it, connects to server using this "warez" and bam! -- Gabe is locked out forever. (Kinda like UO when Rainz slew Lord British!)

    I didnt mean the parent. I ment the post with the link. And I had 2 points. The second was that the page was so old that 2 out of the 3 linked items were broken.
    If you are going to post something for some quick Karma, at least point to a useful page.

    If you care about the growing propertization of the products of intellect, be a pirate for haloween this year.

    Let's not just look like pirates, but act like them & bone up on some of the lore.
    l'Olonnais questioning the unlucky survivors of a party sent to ambush him. During the questioning, l'olonnais, becoming frustrated with the prisoners' silence, drew his knife and cut the heart from one of the Spaniards and began to gnaw upon it.

    Maybe teaching people how bad the pirates really were will help counteract this hysterical retoric coming from the "content" industries' trade associations.
