Actually, the parody use of Time was political speech making fun of Obama's coverage in time magazine and how they seem to be supporting his every move as well as Obama and his health care debacle. That seems to me that it would place it as fair game. Oboma has been on the cover of time magazine 7 times since he took office with another issue coming soon to make it eight. In 2008, he was on the in time mag almost 30 times with a total of 23 times to date on the cover since 2006.

The DMCA also has provisions in which the post can exert a right to the images as fair use or a matter of copyright and Flickr would be bound to put it back up (under the DMCA law). An example of this was a industrial accident in my area a few years back which cost the life of an employee and severely harms a few others. He is currently serving — no, not prison time for corruption — as a professor of ethics (!!) in a state college. Although a big pay-cut from his government salary, a few more years in the position will allow him to retire on the generous "civil servant" pension and benefits. Meanwhile, any construction contractor dealing with the State in New Jersey must pay 30% of his revenue to the union racketeers — just to give you an example, of what Democratic misrule means.
2. Eliot Spitzer, governor of New York — an anti-business demagogue, busted committing crimes he was himself prosecuting only a few years earlier. No jail-time for some reason.
3. Rod Blagojevich, governor of Illinois — caught on tape by the FBI trying to exact a (big) favor in return for the US Senate appointment. He was willing to accept either a government appointment (such as ambassadorship), or a cushy union position, or head a charity created for the purpose — just to illustrate the level of corruption in his State (the same state, that gave us our current President). Indicted.
4. While on the subject of Illinois and Chicago, that's the city, whose Democratic mayor (having inherited the position from his election-stealing dad, BTW), now wants a surveilance camera on every corner. I can't hear you comparing today's Chicago to Munich of 1923...
5. And, of course, the case at hand. The current (Democratic) mayor of Phoenix is in office since 2004...

Right now, we're still seeing the abuses from the republicans being in charge.

The only significant wrong of the Bush administration was Guantanamo. And now that Obama is President he can not close the place, just like Bush had no other option for those people — the puzzle of what to do with combatants fighting not for a foreign state, but a terrorist organization really has no better solution... But those inmates there are foreigners, most of them credibly accused of attacking and conspiring against our country. There is no similar justification — not even in theory — for the listed Democratic corruption.

All it takes is a vocal and committed minority. Democrats and Republicans have done a good job of distracting the public from the real issues, at least until now, when they are biting us directly in the ass. If a third party were to gain enough support under these circumstances, Democrats and Republicans would probably try to shut them down, and might even agree to suspend elections. Hell, people who support third parties are already labeled as terrorists by state police. It's not a stretch that they would try to ban them or take other actions as necessary to prevent them from upsetting the balance of power.

That said, assuming there is a 2012 election, you will probably see a damn strong showing of some third party (or a radical reformation of the Republican Party). They might even win.

Mr Bush has created and deployed an entire US Army battalion on U.S. soil for use against U.S. citizens for the first time in history. And against 2 U.S. laws forbidding such actions.

The Army says,
"Despite conspiracy theories that this could be a first step toward martial law in the U.S., there won't be tanks on Main Street or active-duty troops putting down demonstrations. That is barred by federal law banning the military from being used on U.S. soil for domestic law enforcement.

        Instead, the soldiers of the 1st Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Ga., have been training to back up civilian authorities in providing medical care and dealing with chemical, biological, high explosive or nuclear attack.

BUT,

Not only does this entirely contradict the first Army Times reports, it also egregiously misrepresents to readers the status of US law in regards to this deployment. Yes, there are laws against military policing on US streets -- they are part of both the 1807 Insurrection Act and 1879's Posse Comitatus Act -- but the Defense Authorization Act of 2007 gutted them.

Congress restored some limitations on the President's ability to deploy troops to engage in military policing in 2008 -- but President Bush issued a signing statement declaring he did not feel bound by those limitations. He also can direct these troops -- and the National Guard, and Blackwater -- to engage in military policing of civilian populations simply by verbally and unilaterally declaring a national emergency of whatever kind he wishes.

Unfortunately, the US Army spokespeople are parsing their words and misleading us. And, whatever the stated mission is today, the fact remains that military up the chain of command report to the Commander in Chief -- not to Congress or to you and me, and not to the Governors as most of the National Guard do."

Personality disorders:

1. The repeated resurfacing of the "clogging the roads". This of course, is the neurotic projection/extension of "the state as an extension of self" (e.g. my congressman, my roads, my courts, etc.). This emotional compulsion is the result of rage stemming from sexual impotence as has been well documented in The Mass Psychology of Fascism and numerous other works. It can be cured through either cognitive dissonance or the conscious surfacing of your deep homosexual desires for your father's penis through psychoanalysis.
2. A repeated attempt to portray your ad hominem attacks as factual statements: an exhibition of an anti-social personality.

This amounts to official, systematic evidence-tampering instead of prosecuting those crimes that are too heinous or too indicative of gross negligence by law enforcement to be prosecuted under public scrutiny, which is exactly why the Patriot Act and the Protect America Act have the same kind of crap in them. This is all smokescreen for the next major failure to apprehend terrorists before they achieve their objective, and for CIA child prostitution rings.
