Re:It ACTUALLY does not happen
If those that demand no Voter Identification were concerned for the poor, they'd facilitate the acquisition of ID, not seek ways to avoid it. After all, what's the best job you ever had where you didn't need to identify yourself?
Only ONE party disapproves of measures to make our elections secure, and also your president lied to you. Voter ID is NOT a function of America's "racist past". EVERY COUNTRY THAT'S not a dictatorship has some form of assuring that the person voting is entitled to. EVERY COUNTRY.
NAACP requires photo ID to attend anti-voter-ID protest march
California liberals allege voter fraud, demand voter ID. Democrats think voter identification laws are important for their party elections, but think they're not important when it comes to our elections.
Maxine Waters, an advocate against voter ID, requires an ID to attend her town hall meeting.
Hillary Clinton's Book Tour. Valid Photo ID Required. Suppressing minority turnout, or is this one of those things that's OK when Democrats do it but wrong when anyone else does it?

Re: Very high spending, low results
A year ago, 6 schools in Baltimore had no students that were proficient in state tests... Recently that number grew to 13 without even one student proficient in math, but they did somehow find $100K to bus students to an anti-gun protest...

Re: And hilarity ensues!!!!
Every country in the world requires an ID to vote. Every country. Not requiring it makes us look like a third world shithole. How can we verify non-citizens aren't voting in our elections? We can't. Please consult this informative infographic.

In some states, illegal immigrants--by state policy--can get driver's licenses. You can register to vote at the DMV without any form of ID showing you are a US citizen. If any system dealing with PII, finances, etc. in your life had such a low barrier on security, would you use it? I don't think you would.

Facebook run by bigots
They decided to block a couple of black women on Facebook fore being a "Danger to Society". Where they advocating "punching a facist", or civil war (like the owner of Twitter just did)? Nope. They expressed that they like Trump, and since they are black and Trump supporters they must be blocked.
“The Policy team has came to the conclusion that your content and your brand has been determined unsafe to the community.”
I've seen these women a few times, and they are quite entertaining, but don't even come close to inciting violence like AntiFa.
What a fucked up situation where being a bigot in Silicon Valley is now acceptable, and Trump reducing black unemployment to historic lows is unacceptable and Pelosi is running on reversing this. Looks like the DNC is full bore bigots now.

Re:I wonder if this will cause a fork?
And the Republicans were unable to stop Trump from ascending to the top of their party.
They should have rigged their primary like the Democrats did. They didn't; democracy won and the establishment GOP had an apoplectic fit afterwards.
The organization that fervently opposes checking ID to vote in elections did just that during its election for party chairman. "We have to make sure that we can not just count the ballots but verify every name and signature," Brazile said as party members began applauding. Voter ID suppresses minority turnout and is racist on its face.

Step 1: Voter ID
If those that demand no Voter Identification were concerned for the poor, they'd facilitate the acquisition of ID, not seek ways to avoid it. After all, what's the best job you ever had where you didn't need to identify yourself? I'm just confused how anyone buys beer or cold medicine without an ID. WTF?
Only ONE party disapproves of measures to make our elections secure. Voter ID is NOT a function of America's "racist past" EVERY COUNTRY THAT'S not a dictatorship has some form of assuring that the person voting is entitled to. EVERY COUNTRY.
California liberals allege voter fraud, demand voter ID. LOL. Democrats think voter identification laws are important for their party elections, but think they're not important when it comes to our elections.
Maxine Waters, an advocate against voter ID, requires an ID to attend her town hall meeting.
Hillary Clinton's Book Tour. Valid Photo ID Required. Wait, isn't this suppressing minority turnout? Why's it racist when we do it in our super-important elections, but Hillary does it for her book-signing and suddenly it's not racist? Someone want to take a stab at this one?

Re: Bipartisan vs Google and Facebook
No, the questions are not revealed to the candidates ahead of time. Unless you're Donna Brazile, and you leak the questions to Hillary Clinton and let her prepare answers ahead of time, while forcing Donald Trump to think on his feet. Hey, that's totally OK to do in a democracy that prides itself on fair debates.
"We have to make sure that we can not just count the ballots but verify every name and signature," Brazile said as party members began applauding.
Donna Brazile said after Seth Rich was killed, she kept the blinds down to protect from snipers, possibly Russian. LOL. The Russians break every rule of engagement to start a possible WWIII with us to kill a man who...according to the DNC, didn't leak any emails.

Re:Meanwhile in the US
If those that demand no Voter Identification were concerned for the poor, they'd facilitate the acquisition of ID, not seek ways to avoid it. After all, what's the best job you ever had where you didn't need to identify yourself? If we only had NGOs to drive people to the DMV and pay the twenty bucks for them. If only...
Only ONE party disapproves of measures to make our elections secure. Voter ID is NOT some racist bullshit, EVERY COUNTRY THAT'S not a dictatorship has some form of assuring that the person voting is entitled to. EVERY COUNTRY.

Re:Not a protest
Protip: If you find yourself in a rioting mob, leave.
In many countries the Police have been caught instigating riots (also Canada and some evidence in the USA) during peaceful protests. If people stopped protesting just because violence began then a) this would enable the police to completely stop peaceful protest and b) it would encourage more violence because the police would see the tactic as useful and successful. So no; peaceful protesters should not stop just because someone else begins a riot. They just should move away and not get involved.

Just Google "Obama refers to himself in speech"
Jeez, Obama referred to himself 40-something times in a speech celebrating the Cubs winning the World Series:
Obama refers to himself 40 times during Cubs visit to White House
It may have been the Chicago Cubs’ day at the White House, but that didn’t stop President Obama from repeatedly talking about himself while honoring them.
In what he called his final ceremony at the White House, Obama delivered roughly 22 minutes of remarks about the Cubs’ World Series win, and in the process, managed to refer to himself 40 times.

Re:Oh, that's ironic
Well, I can't speak for the motives of those speaking in defence of refugees
Well, I can — and did. They are picking out "poster children" and lying to the rest of us by implying, the sample they picked is representative. It is not.
the motivation for the large number of young men running away [...] either enlist or kill every single military-age man just because
Those same assholes, who'd impress into service or kill men, would also rape women and/or sell them into slavery (pre-pubescent once included) — so that motivation does not explain the lopsided statistics... If these crowds really feared persecution, they would've contained entire families. Since they do not, the young men must be motivated by economic prospects, not danger.
But I don't blame the people wanting to move to a better-run country in the slightest. I am an immigrant myself.
Yet, I do not believe, the countries they chose have any obligation — neither legal nor even moral — to take them. And for those, who are so accepted — out of kind compassion (even if based on the above-discussed lie) — to seek changes to their new country (in particular to demand women be dressed a certain way on pain of rape) is an outrage. Maybe, their children will be entitled to vote for changes, but their own responsibility is to be appreciative and supportive of their new countries just as they found them.
It is this outrage, that is the motivation of the man in TFA, and I understand him very well.
