First Star War Episode 7 Trailer Released

Wasn't singular "Star war" one of the subtitles in the infamous "Backstroke of the West" bootleg? (Pic)

Never has the donotwant tag ever been more appropriate. Not only do we not actually want this, Star Wars is the origin of the phrase.

I'm not sure if this is "ironic" or "inevitable".

Going from English to Chinese to English is like taking an English interpretation of what the Chinese are trying to interpret from what someone was saying authentically in English instead of just interpreting into English what someone was authentically saying in Chinese.

The most obvious failure? Nobody quotes the new star wars to honor it. "These are not the droids you are looking for" "I am your father" "I find your lack of faith disturbing" "It is a trap".

Where are the episode 1-3 quotes?

Lucas really should have hired whoever did the translation for "Backstroke of the West". That would have been *sooo* much cooler than what actually turned out.

How can this be modded off-topic? "Do not want" refers directly to the English translation of the Chinese interpretation of Darth Vader's anguished cry "NooooOOOoOOOoO!!" in Ep. III. See this page for more info.
