X-Rays cause as much cancer as the kill.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Ending back around Year 2002 I knew a main Loki Entertainment developerJohn Hall (auther of Linux Games porting on Ebay) that felt a lump under his arm and had it checked by a doctor. After this first notice of having contracted cancer in his lymph nodes, he died from THERAPIES within 9 months of being but a couple months before is when tthey used that Gamma Knife on his brain. The surgeries all went fine, scans reported no more cancer, he continued taking the medications they assured onto him, but his lifestyle never changed per his documentation: the cancer kept coming back, and they kept cutting it out and scanning him.
Now there are studies proving that all the scanning causes cancer more than anything else. He documented every drug and surgery down to the shadow and speck of dust, onto his website http://overcode.yak.net/ where he entered a coma and died bu the journal might still be available to you from http://archive.org/ if you are persistent in search. The cancer traveled from his lymphatic system to his brain, where they boasted to excise the cancer using the verry same Gamma Knife that you advocate. How can you advocate what you yourself have't shown to have experienced?
There is more evidence in changing your lifestyle through diet and metabolism as the only way to defeat cancer.

Re:House RulesA more fun way to play is to have the list of 2 letter words printed out and available to everyone.
Here is a sample but there are many others on the internet. Use The Google.
The cool thing about this is that it levels the playing field for all, AND it expands the board by allowing you to make neat plays that you might not otherwise have been able to.

Why does Ion.SIMIAN.c hate HOSTS files? #3 of 5
Because he obviously is a botmaster (or wannabe "hacker/cracker" who loses profits by blocking known bad websites in HOSTS files since adbanners have been compromised before), or some webmaster (as they lose monies on adbanner blockage, despite it taking away a users' speed online, OR, via malicious code in them that bushwhacks the unwary user):

I would ordinarily stop on that note alone, seeing as Ion.SIMIAN.c is obviously one profiting by these things (even though they're known to be infested with malicious code the past few years now & the fact that adbanners eat up an online user's bandwidth THE USER PAYS FOR no less)... but, that's not all, with wannabe, Ion.SIMIAN.c... far from it!
He hangs out @ the "hacker/cracker" websites online, like this one -> http://74.125.47.132/search?q=cache:T1ikOtt242AJ:hackaday.com/2009/02/22/x11-on-android/+%22Simon+C.+Ion%22&cd=10&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us
Thus, it's quite possible he is trying to somehow "discredit me" to others, since I have done guides that stop that type of loser (hackers/crackers), the worst kind of online SCUM that there is, via this guide I did in late 2008 -> http://www.tcmagazine.com/forums/index.php?s=5bf29ea6ca49162314f25f9ebf2aba68&showtopic=2662
He also likes things like "PhreakNic", a 'hacker/cracker' type event apparently -> http://wiki.yak.net/0.photos.simoncion?size=L and those are his photos from it...
APK
P.S.=> Keep using TOR (another indicator ion.SIMIAN.c is nothing but someone up to "no good" again most likely), & going slow as hell due to their total lack of speed (like any "anonymous proxy" usually is) being the "wannabe hacker" you *THINK* you are, apparently... NOW - You said this to me:

Time to show YOU, what is what & everyone else here, where it's at, on that account... with your own list of massive screwups. I will keep to my word, because I laid off on you, thinking you'd leave me be from the last time we "had it out" for your trolling me, & you lost badly (which my other replies here clearly illustrate)... So, from now on, under this "ion.simon.c" registered user account you have here? I'll do as you requested -> http://slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=1230601&threshold=-1&commentsort=0&mode=thread&pid=28076381 , & post this in reply to your posts, see how you like eating your own words... apk

He also likes things like "PhreakNic" -> http://wiki.yak.net/0.photos.simoncion?size=L and those are his photos from it... now, IF I looked like a bony little weasel like that? I might be tempted to be a little prick like he is also, but... that assumes I was a wannabe like Ion.SIMIAN.c is, who can't even get a GIGABYTE IRAM to work on Linux (as he could not, but, yet it works on Windows, just fine), and he looks like an AIDS victim to boot.

P.S.=> Keep using TOR (another indicator this little prick ion.SIMIAN.c is nothing but someone up to "no good"), & going slow as hell due to their total lack of speed (like any "anonymous proxy" usually is), because you're going to be unable to hide from me, from now on!

From now on, in every post you make here?
You're going to see, and so will everyone else, these same replies to you, so everyone can see how STUPID you are, little wannabe (and, so you cannot continue to mod me down as you have been & then posting wiseguy AC comments afterwards)... Going to send you back to "Alabama", with your tail between your legs, you 33 yr old troll.
Then, of course, you'll use your sockpuppet "Random Destruction" account to do so as he did here (note the 'wall of text' comment & same speech pattern -> http://tech.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=1327945&cid=28980845 ), but that's ok - I have a lot more than I have here so far on you, Ion.SIMIAN.c (this? This is JUST THE START)... lol! apk

A better one is Programming Linux Games, John Hall
The Book is published by No Starch Press, and is available from them for USD ~39 or one can be purchased at the bargain bin for USD ~5 or from eBay for USD 0.99. Covers all topics from modern Video and Sound and Network libraries in application development, and applied to entertainment purposes (which we all know is just a bend from business programming).
The author died recently (9th Month of 2005), and his page is still heldhttp://overcode.yak.net/. To summarize his death, a new and unusual Mole formed on his shoulder and within a Year it spread cancer throughout his body and lymphnodes. He was dead in a Year! He was a great man that I participated with in the forums at LINUXGAMES.COM. His book is a good reference, but is since depricated by the slowling changing APIs. John is an ex-employee of when LOKI was in business.
Those doctors made his last Year of life a living hell with all the medication they gave him. Remember folks: Vitamin-C suffocates cancer; therefore, avoid the consumption foods and drinks known to deplete Vitam-C such as Alcohol-tainted water and animal-flesh and most medication (like Aspirin). -
Re:Drum memoryCheck out this story of how to use drum memory:
"Mel never wrote time-delay loops, either,
even when the balky Flexowriter
required a delay between output characters to work right.
He just located instructions on the drum
so each successive one was just past the read head
when it was needed;
the drum had to execute another complete revolution
to find the next instruction." -
Seems right place to put this

Been done before, here's a picture
I took this picture at the AOPA Expo in Long Beach last year:
http://overcode.yak.net/7.sizes@100_0649.jpg?size1 =L&size=S
An automatic banjo and guitar. They sounded very good, but obviously somewhat mechanical. The mechanism seems to be very similar to what the Georgia Tech people came up with.
I don't know why someone brought this to an aircraft show, but it was fun to watch.

FuckBlackboard.com
That was the site i threw together shortly after they got the smack down from Blackboard at Interz0ne II. Unfortunately i let the domain expire and Blackboard(!) bought it.

you can use it (like he did) to build your own coke machine....

Cracking Spectorsoft- Phasmatis
Acidus (of Blackboard and Magstripe Fame) has a cool (but rather primitive) project called Phasmatis which reads and writes Spector Data capture files. There is a SF project page, but for some reason all his stuff is still on his personal webpage. It doesn't work with the most recent versions, but provides a good foundation for cracking the files. http://www.yak.net/acidus/software/phasmatis/inde
x .html There are also some pretty detailed lecture slides about the Spector File Format, and how he decoded it. http://www.yak.net/acidus/talks/index.html Enjoy -
Melanoma is one of the most dangerous cancersThis is very good news indeed as melanoma is a very difficult cancer to get rid of.
Unfortunately a fellow geek has a case. Check out his weblog here.
Basically make sure you get all suspicious looking moles checked by your doctor before it's too late. Melanoma is only life threatening when it spreads beyond the initial site.

Re:How long before DMCA is used?
Something like this has happened in the past. Google for the Blackboard system which tried to use legal measures to stop research into the system's insecurities. Quick source of info

A few months ago I did this over San Francisco
It was a single plane flying over the San Francisco bay area. I used Kismet as well... I think I wasn't the first but I did beat these guys by a long shot.
Two photos here:
kismet photo, San Francisco.
We had an ibook scanning as well, it picked up about 1/10th of the networks. All in all without very good equipment (knoppix, old kismet, nothing special) we got about 190 networks.
It's possible with a good antenna to circle and get online, it's also possible to make cell phone calls if you should feel like it (not that we did that). We were flying at about 2000 feet for most of the time.
It wasn't the last time we did it either. War flying can be fun with a GPS that records the altitude as well as the lat+long. -

More information about VoynichOn my own list of Famous Unsolved Codes, the Voynich Manuscript is right up there at #2, just under the Beale Ciphers (which also have some pretty compelling arguments that they're a hoax).
Some other good links for Voynich information:
- An excellent viewer which lets you quickly see thumbnails of all of the pages at once.
- A good overview page
- The Voynich Mailing List - a site maintained by Jim Gillogly (famous for cracking the first few parts of Kryptos).

First sale
I'm not a lawyer either, but I have read Title 17, U.S. Code.
I thought about eBaying it, but a pal told me it's illegal to even have it. Anyone know?
In general, it's lawful to resell a lawfully acquired lawful copy of a copyrighted work (17 USC 109). It appears dumpster diving is lawful ( California v. Greenwood ). You have a good consequential case as well because The Road to Perdition has been published (i.e. distributed in copies to the public) on DVD.

Re:And space exploration is not easy! Not when you consider today's computers are about 1000-1500 times faster, and have 100,000-500,000 times more RAM than the Apollo Guidance Computer
You do have to worry a lot about shielding the components from radiation, but if we could do it with a computer that's less powerful than your garden variety calculator watch, I'd say commercialization is going to be limited by propulsion technology, not the control equipment.
