the E51 is THE phone for me. It's a classic case of a "you name it, we have it" except for GPS:(. It's slim, fast, multitasking, it has great keypad, metal body, wi-fi, bright screen, even on the sun. And cheap to boot:)
No - you, sir, have no clue about Americans. Americans are in it for themselves, bar none. Any social interest arising from an American economic activity is merely an unintended side-effect of a self interest the executor couldn't turn into profit.

Anyway, other than this, it really isn't different, but several posters here are acting like it's some kind of useful contribution to Linux. It's not. It's only useful for MS customers running Hyper-V who want to run Linux on top of that.
"Who want to run Linux on top of that"? Don't you mean "RHEL/SLES customers"
I hate micro usb. I used to be able to carry a single cable for my phone, card reader, ext hard drives, camera, etc etc... Now I have to bring yet another cable just for the phone. I'm so glad that the Nokia E-series stick with mini-usb
unfortunately for me, my 3 year old is no ordinary mortal. He can always find exactly the correct cable to unplug to create the maximum possible chaos. So now I am hiding them behind a closed door.
If I can't install Linux or even Rockbox or my own build of Windows CE on the damn thing (because of some as of yet uncracked/unreversed hardware protection mechanism), then you are "tied to Amazon".
I can't install BSD on my G-Shock... or install ubuntu on my lightbulb, CentOS on my E51, WinMe on my K100D. Yes I am tied to Casio, Philips, Nokia, and Pentax. But that's not actually a bad thing no?
Thanks for being unpaid beta testers for Win7 - we appreciate your time, money, frustration, and effort. Your stubborn refusal to ditch Vista will be rewarded - just as soon as you ditch Vista for the paid patch that is Win7. Thanks again, and study your WC Fields next time.
Can I set/change what proxy is used by 2000ish firefox install at the same time?
My company deploys lots of web apps for our daily operation, and Firefox perform so much better than IE, but having to manage 2000ish Firefox install by hands seem too.. well..
I can use citrix's XenApp to serve Firefox centrally, but I think it's an overkill...
As for principles I'll take a single botched hanging over the rather large mass graves created by Hussein any day and I know an awful lot of Iraqis agree
Well well, when death comes in number they're just statisic
We ostensibly invaded Iraq to liberate its people and bring them democracy.
No we didn't! We invaded because we were told they had WMDs and they were a threat to us. Only after the invasion did the reasons turn to "democracy".
quite the opposite I think. You created The WMDs case to give you reason to invade Iraq. And when you ran out of idea on how to prove the existence of the said WMDs, somehow the reason turns to "democracy"

It's the time for us to build the Jupitoris fleet -- Mohammad Ikhsan
Now that I think about it, why would I pay for something I can get for free?
let me rephrase that : "Now that I think about it, why would I pay for something I can get by stealing?"
Oh, it is indeed a double standard. However, the countries condemning them haven't alluded to wiping their enemies off the face of the planet, as Iran has http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/10/26/ahmadinejad/index.html

Yeah, instead of only barking the threat, they actually doing it right away..

He saw a strange name and was curious. Pull your head out of your own.
Then he should have asked for whether the name "Goncalves" is a hispanic or other. He was asking about Goncalves' ethnic background

just great, instead of training dogs to help guide handicapped people, they use them for useless stuff like this. Way to go, humanity!
How is it useless? Pirating copyrighted material is a crime, right?
It is amusing that most people find it's acceptable to replace "Non Verizon GSM device with Wi-Fi capability" with "iPhone" ?
Well, that's the first browser-based game I've tried to play that isn't cross platform.
Quake Live?
You mean one of your cow-orkers, perhaps?
