I think Vertual boy would have been a lot better if it had a strap to hold it to your head, insted of having to hold your head to it. Also, it was just a little ahead of it's time. The technology just wasn't there to make a high quality display relitively cheap.
yeah, you can learn a lot more about how computers work with a simple one. The Apple II was the computer that I was first introduced to programming on.
Don't the busses have yellow lights that thry blink to warn you before they stop? Thats how it is here in TX. The buss driver hits a switch when he/she is getting close to a stop, turning on the yellow lights. Then the red lights start when the door is opened. If your busses don't work this way, maybe you should suggest it to your congressman/woman.
There is a lot more software on the market for windows. Most of which is not sold by Microsoft. If Linux ever wants to realy become mainstream, it is going to need to run that software. Once it gets a decent install base, then developers will write linux native programs and the windows support will become unnecisary.

Same w/ me, although, I had only singned up to get the $10 off a purchase and I had a direct line to their cancelation service.
Actualy, I find that it gets a little faster w/ every release, and has been acceptable since around 0.9.8 RC1 was very fast, and with HTML pipelining, I think RC2 as gotten slightly faster. What was the last version you tried?
are you saying you want microsoft to ship Visual Studio, Office, IE, and a multitude of other apps with the OS? I thought that was why they were in court. I know a lot of us are hipocrits, but acusing microsoft of being anticompeditive because of IE, and then comending Linux distros for having 7 CD's full of stuff just seems wrong.
Way back in word version 6 is was kind of usefull, although probobly not as 'smart.' It would flag words like 'effect' and 'affect,' tell you the difference, and ask you which one one really meant. There were a few other things about it I was dissapointed to see dissapear in Word 95.
So go buy the game for them. It has been said before, but I will say it again. This is the same as rating movies. There is nothing to stop a minor from seeing a movie as long as a parrent/gardian is there with them. All this will do is preven the child from buying a game that the parent may or may not aprove of.
No it wouldn't because costomers are stupid, cheap, bastards that don't want to know the "technical" reasons why the more expincive printer will save them money. BTW, I work retail, and have experienced this first hand. On a side note, if you think ink is bad, take a look at fax machines... The cheap ones cost ~$0.09 a page even if it doesn't have anything on it.
This could be do to the fact that Epson's printers work a lot different than every one else's. Epson doesn't boil the ink out, they use a presurised tank to push it out. Also, why would you need to tak the cartrdges out? When the printer is off it seals the printhead.
Considering blank CD's can be had for about $0.20, (CompUSA ultra generic) I'd say around 200 Million copies. Although, I feel sorry for the poor guy that has to sit there and burn them all.
I found these really cool hiking boots at Acadamy. They are tough, handle water and mud nicely, and are fairly comfortable. The best part is that they only cost around $20 and usualy last me a year.
that's weird, I had that same combo, although it got upgraded to a Voodoo 3 a while back.
Um, In the original doom, all the enemies came through portals from hell. That was around 10 years ago. I guess half life did the copying. :)

lol, this gave me a bigger laugh than the original joke.
I only payed 3.75 for my ticket : I't might have had something to do with being a student though.

Imagine a script kiddie doing mass spoof unsubscribes... collect a list of AOLers and kill *all* their accounts at once!
I fail to see the problem. We'd be better off without most of them and the rest don't need it on thier Cable connection.
Of cource the FIFA games aren't like football. FIFA controls soccer. ;)
wasn't there a movie about this involving sharks...

Windows still lets you pick and choos what you want to take off after the install. :)

the cartreges are just bottles, the print head has it's own tank that is preasurized, at least that is what their sales rep tells me.

Yes, but the cartreges in the new printer are only half full, so you are doing it twice as often.
it was 40 billion, not 50 so that takes acre of that. And by million, I meant billion ;)

Lexmark is even more expincive than HP. Of cource lexmark doesn't sell half full cartriges either...
