No, I'm claiming that there's no problem whatsoever in children hearing words - no matter what words. If the words are inappropriate in different social contexts it's up to the parents to explain that to them.
Actually I find it quite funny that americans think you can do it any other way.
Oh I read ACs..:) I understand what you mean, but, I often see US citizens actually _wanting_ laws against profanity etc. If you scroll down you'll see posts arguing for it here on Slashdot as well.
RIAA would be charged criminally for trying to push explicit lyrics on children
Are you by any chance a US citizen?
In the rest of the world we let the parents raise their children.. really.. what do you think happens to kids who listen to "explict lyrics"? I'm seriously curious.
You're even more of an idiot than I first thought:) Please go back and re-read the whole thread. You apparently think you've written things you haven't.
I've missed five races since 1992...;) I consider this season to be one of the closest (behind Schumi) in many many years. There's always been dominating teams - it's incredible how short memory people have.
At this point in the season we have (at _least_) 6 cars/drivers who can fight for pole, and positions behind Schumi are very hard to predict. I also agree with Renault that if their cars hadn't broken down on Montreal it's not sure at all that Schumi would've won.
The FIA's rule changes are to stop the big three (Ferrari, McLaren, Williams) from just throwing ridiculous amounts of money at a problem rather than engineering a solution.... which doesn't happen. The big three this year are Ferrari, Renault and BAR.
Money didn't help Williams and McLaren, so why change anything? Apparently the current system works.
A few of the F1-cars have over 900hp. They also have superior track handling and brakes compared to CART-cars. The common reasoning is that an F1 car will outpace any IRL or CART car - except on ovals.
At Albert Park in early March, Ferrari and Sauber had the same V10 engine.
New 'long life' rules meant last year's scarlet unit was not reliable enough to be fitted to the Sauber C23, so the customer team got works- spec Ferrari power.link
... they have however not gotten the same updates, but when this season started Ferrari and Sauber had the same engines.
That's how much difference the REST of the car makes!
Your reply was to ME - you used the blocking of mail from dynamic IPs as a reason for why I shouldn't be able to send mail using SMTP (on port 25) from my own mailserver.
Thus a reply explaining to you that not all home-run SMTP servers are on dynamic IPs was quite valid.
I do hope someone is getting a good laugh out of all of this. My point stands - relaying mail from your own mailserver via the ISP mailservers is bad for your own security.
I'm on DSL - with a static IP. Not in any blacklists.
If I know who I'm mailing (I most oftenly do..) I also know whether they run their own mailservers as well. I thus know whether I can trust the SMTP encryption itself or if I need to add another layer.
Now go read a book, or something. Your advice stinks of ignorance.
... and void the privacy you get when you know that your own mailserver and the receiving (known) mailserver are the only ones able to see the mail in clear text.
My girlfriend bought Day of the Tentacle (compilation CD with Sam & Max) a few months ago. We played on on the big screen via DosXbox (DOS emu ported to the Xbox). Extreme nostalgia.
The idea to run it on the Xbox came after it refused to work under Win2K until I used Dosbox, and I knew that Dosbox had been ported to the Xbox. It took some setting up to map the needed keys, but it was worth it. Much more fun to sit two in a sofa and play vs sitting in front of the computer.
Can you elaborate? The only information I find regarding this "large island" only "300-500 feet" below the surface is The depth of water over the ridge is less than 2,700 m (8,900 ft) in most places, and several mountain peaks rise above the water, forming islands..
There's sound (and tested) science behind it. There's no sound science behind young earth theories.
Young Earth Creationist
Thank you. If just all of you could state that up front so that the intelligent ones could stop reading right then.
No, but it's about to get competition from Zlatan.

List of consoles sold at a loss:

The issue of whether Al Queda was linked to Iraq before 9/11 or before the war started may be an open question
No, it has been an open and shut case ever since bin Ladin referred to Hussein as a "secular infidel".

Well then, maybe you have the wrong phone? There are new phones with very capable Java engines - even Java3D - with very nice games.
Yes, on cellphones.
You must be american.

When I start my Sony Ericsson P800 it asks me whether I want the phone (think rf) parts on or off (airplane-mode).
;)
So, you simply have the wrong smartphone
This weekend people in the EU went voting for parliament. Pen and paper. It just works.
...
I haven't checked the numbers, but I'd guess that's more people than in an american presidential election.
I'm just back from my "put an X in the box in front of the person you want to vote for" myself
You really don't know much do you.

You might want to read up on automatic SSL between capable SMTP-servers .. it's .. old news actually.

The numbers are correct. Red Herring has had the numbers if I remember my own bookmarks (not on this computer) correctly.
... on the other hand, even if you map control-c on the Xbox port of Dosbox you cannot quit Maniac Mansion if you create a setup like I did.
;)
Yeah - it was annoying when I found out - I hadn't saved in DOTT for a while
