exactly. I have "shared" my password to for different accounts. I change my password, give them the new changed password, after they are done with it change it back.
And using the same password with multiple sites? So what? For shit I don't care about if my account gets comprimised I used my generic password. For my secure stuff I will use a different passwords.. but sometimes they are the same or close to it.
I think this is a good idea, and would work great on the PS3 and XBOX consoles.
If you are afraid of pissing off hardcore people *wahh casual people can still see the ending even though they didn't "earn" it* then make a 250GP achievement for beating the game without cheats on the hardest difficulty. Most casual people don't give a shit about achievements, whereas a lot of hardcore people do.
I bought a $20 test device to confirm the deadness of PSUs.
Wow, why? I use a (basically) free paper clip.
Connect one end of the paper clip to the green wire, and the other end to any black wire (ground) and press the power button... if it doesnt power up, means it is dead, if it does power up it is most likely fine
With Xbox live, I am sure the developers could make a nice chunk of change if the made the extras available on XBL for $10 or so.
Unless, of course, they are already being paid off by Sony to have the extras "Exclusive"
Although maybe it would take too much effort to make the patch for the XBOX to make it worth it...
Thanks LA, this is what? the 30th star war game you have released?
If you want to release Star Wars, fine, but can you also go back to your roots and start re-releasing some of the originals that made your name (Monkey Island, Grim F, Sam & Max).... I know the series would never be the same since most of your creative adventure designers are most likely long gone... but damn I miss them.
The only way EB Games, and Gamestop stays in business is from their used game sales.
Depending on the game, they will buy it off of you for 10-20 bucks, and resell it for 90% of the normal retail price, making a huge margin.
Now EB and GS probably make a bit extra than an independent store, but not much.
If the person is smart, they wouldn't of used any of their real life details anyways (I know I sure don't when I register for any online stuff that doesn't require a credit card)
So how would getting the "identity" help them at all? At most they might get a free hotmail account, then go bug hotmail to release the identity for that email address (which is probably fake info to)
This seems like an awesome idea in theory, but could be a huge fluke.
If there are enough people on your server to take control of the "NPC" it could indeed be very fun. However, if no one is on your server, it will just be another Carmageddon style game (ok so im not 100% sure the style of the game). Although I guess you would obviously join a server that has quite a few players. (I mean would you join a counter strike server that has 31 bots and no real players)?
With that being said, this is defiently worthwhile to try. This should prove if there is a market for these kind of games, and if so, could open up a whole new genre.
Good, hopefully this will send a message to a few other spammers that they may get caught to.
Obviously you can never eliminate spammers due to zombie networks, but nailing a couple people will defiently help.
Although maybe there should be a law that jails stupid people for a couple days that click on links in email titled "CL1cK HERE TO 3NLARGE MALE M3MBER"
Exactly, who say Aliens - if they exist - hasn't come up with some vastly superior way of travel (maybe instant teleportation, etc). And even if they do know about our presence, why would they care? There are most likely millions of other planets that are available, why bother fighting over one that has inferior beings on it, that will most likely destroy themselves within the next few centuries.
We most likely have nothing of value to them, so what would be the purpose of them "contacting us"
Grim Fandango 2
Monkey Island 5
Indiana Jones
Police Quest
Space Quest
Kings Quest
The Dig 2
AVP 3
Sam and Max 2 (made by lucas arts and not tell tale... I don't like their version that much)...
Probably get the hint that I love adventure games
There are probably a few others I would love to see, but nothing comes to mind at the moment
Anything that adds just a bit more realism is usually a good thing (in video games).
There are cases where there can be too much realism, but this isn't one of those things.
There is defiently a point where you will want to dispose the dead body - otherwise the environment can be completly littered and could possibly pose framerate issues.
But either way, with the increase of horsepower these new consoles have, it will be extremely interesting to see what type of objects they place in our virtual world that used to not be possible.
yes exactly. It would be interesting to see how many have actually been sold, and how many have been returned (from defects, ebay returns, etc)
I am not biased or anything, I like any console that is really fun, and I can see myself owning a PS3 in a year or to. But so far I havent heard anything entirely positive about this console, but have heard barely anything negative about the Wii (besides PEBKAC err maybe it should be PEBTAR (TV And Remote)
Yes, I totally agree with this.
And once Netflix proves that streaming videos is possible, it is only a matter of time until many of the other online video rental places offer it to.
Hell, there are about 5 different rental places in Canada, and 2 of them are very large (cinemail.ca, and zip.ca)
This display seems like a very interesting step forward. Huge Contrast ratios (in the tens of thousands), fast response time, and a very nice viewing angle.
I just wonder how long after they hit the consumer market that they will be in the common living room. Besides the hardcore enthusiasts, people will not be anxious to give up their brand new LCD flat panel TV and replace it with one of these.
Oh, and one thing they should test for in QA is how hard of a throw it can withstand by someone who lets go of their Wii Remote.
I would have to say that TextPad seems like a great notepad type editor. Sure might not by WYSIWYG editor, but who needs that?
Funny how this is "Worlds best" but I don't think I have ever heard of it before...
I think I saw some electronic device in his coat pocket!!!! Let's see how long that would last

Would love to see an updated Mutant League Hockey
just imagine if you don't test giant sharks with lasers will attack you.. with that stimulate you enough?

No, I definitely think it is you.
Dang I knew car companies were bad by selling there next year model a 1/2 year early.... but DAMN a whole millennium??
You guys are all a bunch of LLAMAS

So a set of 4 galaxies can merge faster than the US government will allow XM and Sirius to merge http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XM/Sirius_merger

Which is why I used the words "bit" and "usually". Obviously there are places where realism isn't a good thing, such as your Mario example.

Even more ways to stamp "Pen15" on your buddies forehead at school!
