    If a content provider (like CBS or Netflix) charges for access, that is not a Net Neutrality issue. Net Neutrality is only violated if the ISP regulates access to particular content.

    Double check your stats. The US does not have higher poverty rate than Spain. The fact that you're even making this comparison is laughable given the recent events in Spain.

    Spain also has an unemployment rate 4 times higher than the US and about half the GDP per capita.

  18. I live a place where racial discrimination in the workplace is illegal and where CEOs are expected to at least make token effort to comply with the law.

  19. The lawsuit purports to have an email from Elon Musk, himself, that is pretty damning.

    According to Monday’s complaint, Musk sent an email to Tesla factory employees on May 31. “Part of not being a huge jerk is considering how someone might feel who is part of [a] historically less represented group,” Musk wrote in the email. “Sometimes these things happen unintentionally, in which case you should apologize. In fairness, if someone is a jerk to you, but sincerely apologizes, it is important to be thick-skinned and accept that apology.”

    Anything less than a zero tolerance policy from the the CEO is grounds for a lawsuit. The fact that the employee making the complaint was subsequently fired is the final straw.

    Banning trans fats doesn't make food healthy. It makes food safer. Your Cheetos are still junk food, whether they have trans fat or not.

    False equivalence. Safety =/= healthy. All people want SAFE food. Which is why we have food safety requirement. Most people care less about healthy, which is why food health requirements do not exist.

    Linda Starr, a Clinton volunteer in Texas, was key to spreading the rumor. She connected with with Philip Berger, an attorney and Clinton supporter, who sued to block Obama’s nomination. The suit was thrown out. But this is not the same thing as Clinton or her campaign promoting the theory.

    To be clear: Politifact acknowledges that Clinton staffers were spreading the birther rumor during the primary.

    It just can't be tied back to Clinton herself or the "official" campaign. Which sounds like plausible deniability at work.
