I don't see how the software being free changes how easy it is to use.
Sure, lots of Linux software is hard to use; that's the way things traditionally were with Unix. It's getting easier, you just have to give it some time.
"Theoretical"? I have Gmail. It's not theoretical, and its interface is far better than Yahoo's. I always hated their kludgy, slow hacks. Gmail, on the other hand, is fast and friendly.
Here's what I found. The italicised portions were deleted from the original.
eim.doc had hilarious references to "the Digital Nervous System" all over it, which had been deleted and replaced with more down-to-earth language.
From PrintCluster.doc:
This flexible model allows you to configure Cluster service to provide
the bestbetter value and greater protection for your particular circumstances.
From LaMagnaBio.doc:
With a staff of 200 intelligence analysts, special agents, computer engineers, and private contractors from the DEA, the FBI, U.S. Customs and the Department of Defense
in a unique intelligence gathering operation designed to support field investigations.
Let's call this Microsoft's investigative team

From XO_final.doc:
A total cost of ownership (TCO) study at XO, comparing the annualized TCO of comparably configured servers built on Linux and the Microsoft solution for Windows Web hosting,
(is this a fair comparison, i.e. apples to apples?) reveals that a Linux system costs nearly $1,550 more per server per year than its Windows 2000-based counterpart. The key difference lies not in the cost of hardware or operating system software but in the annual cost of engineering, administration, and security support. (detailed support on file for this claim?)
Linux-based systems are much more subject to hacker attacks than systems built on the Microsoft solution for Windows Web hosting(support on file?)
(The press release appears to have been published without fact-checking.)
Mastek EPM.doc is HUGE and has all sorts of junk in it.
It's funny because they're Muslims so they're religious fundamentalists, and they declare "jihad" on things they don't like. Ha, ha, ha. That's fucking hilarious.

Unlike other Trojans, this one was pretty hard to figure out; it looked just like a text e-mail that hadn't been processed correctly or contained special characters. I don't blame the end users for this one.
I blame Microsoft. Yeah, everyone blames Microsoft, but I have a case-- if they hadn't hidden the file extensions, it would have been much easier to figure out that MyDoom was a Trojan.
Also the judge ruled that Lindows must ensure that internet users from the Benelux [BElgium NEtherlands LUXembourg] can no longer access the site www.lindows.com.
Another hit for free speech... I don't even see how that makes sense.
It's a stupid graphical system that inverts the meaning of client and server. It needs a client (or is it server?) like XFree86 to run on your computer and display an ugly, useless black-and-white screen. It needs software like xterm to do anything with. It needs a window manager like TWM, FVWM or Metacity to actually move around windows. It needs a windowing system like KDE or GNOME to be presentable.
What it does by itself is anyone's guess. Probably low-level graphics calls.
MUTE uses its own anonymous network. It is very similar to the secret W**ny filesharing network used in Japan, which is impossible to arrest someone for using because of the Freenet-like nature of the network. More information can be found on the MUTE website.
Lotus Notes, you mean. They did have an office suite, too:)
There's an old Notes for UNIX, maybe the tattered remains of Lotus can fix that up. Notes is going to have to be rewritten for IBM's upcoming top-secret project anyway.
This was Bush's tactic to get good PR on education, as president! He blocked the funding for "No Child Left Behind", so now many public schools are falling apart.

On Slashdot, maybe, but he's just your average guy in the software industry.
Oh, so it's THEORETICAL then! I admire your strong grasp of the English language!

On my personal homepage, Gecko is actually in first place with 47% :)
Are you joking, or did they really try to take a second photo?
BitTorrent
This problem has already been solved by the CC people, who thought of it when the issue of adding metadata to music came up.
So there's no problem, with MP3s at least.
By the way, good luck getting your company going! It will be great to have more people using and contributing to open source projects.
You fail it.
As opposed to your post, which is -1 Troll
No, Windows 3.1 is MS Sans Serif.

Alan Cooper's book, About Face, describes an ideal desktop: not a metaphor for something else, but an easily learned, symbolic interface.
The closest thing to it currently is GNOME.

You should have stayed there! You're an excellent patent examiner!
You figured that out just now?
FYI, Santa Claus doesn't exist either.

You need to turn on ClearType (anti-aliasing) in Windows for it to work correctly.
Either you're with us or you're against us!
