but isn't it sad that violence and gore is more acceptable than sex? Show a beheading in one of Tarantino's movie is ok, but show a penis on the screen and it's x-rated?

How is it sad? We all know that no one is going to kill anyone from watching a movie, so it's okay to be desensitized to violence. However, almost everyone is going to have sex at some point, and being desensitized to that would be terrible.

I'm glad people don't walk around naked, because I want nudity to be special.

    $25,000 for 3,000 players?

So each participant lost, on average, 8-9 bucks. Not exactly a mindblowing number there.

This might go a long way to explaining why certain families are very invested in sports (especially supporting national sports teams), where other families don't really care about it. I think we all know that one family where everyone loves football, even though they all have different teams ... or, if you're part of that family, then it might go a long way to explaining why no one outside your family is nearly passionate enough about football.

This, without exception, is my biggest problem with Magic. No matter how good you are or how good your deck is, it's realistically very possible to be completely screwed out of a game by the random nature of your deck.

That's probably the reason I'm such a fan of Dominion. It's a card game where strategy is truly the only difference between winners and losers. Add in its low cost of entry and high replayability, and you got a game that's (in my opinion) much better made than Magic.
