If I'm not mistaken some browsers only POST on 80, 443 and 8080 ports...
I *think* I've stumbled across that problem with Firefox a couple of years ago...
Or my memory is playing tricks on me...can't be sure...
Oh for fucks sake man is that what you understood from the the guy's reply?
I too am sick of PHP getting bashed all the time...And yes I'm a web developer who writes in PHP...
It's easy to write secure code and get the job done and I prefer it because it reminds me of C (my second language of choice).
Yes a lot of people write bad code in PHP, and I've seen my fair share of that...also a lot of people write freaking dangerous code in C.
Should we bash C for making overflows so easy a pitfall?
Because I've never seen a developer make that argument...
What about Java?
A lot of universities teach only Java now, of course someone who only knows Java isn't a real developer is he? So let's ban Java.
Oh! oh! And guns...people shoot each other every day...let's ban guns also...and cars and those pesky doctors with their mistakes and bridges and tall buildings..after all they make it easy for people who want to kill themselves to do so...
Here people...Reductio ad absurdum at it's finest...
Personally I have no problem with bad coders as long as they are not in my team...The overabundance of bad coders means that I can negotiate a better salary...
It's just a matter or perspective...like say....I don't have a problem with gay men...it just means that there are more women left for me....
Everybody just needs some perspective... and basic freaking reasoning skills....
In a company I used to work we had lots of GB of music in our dataserver.
Everybody was welcomed to enrich the music folder, if he followed the naming conversions and folder structure, heh...
I was pleasantly surprised on my first day. Of course, one of the 2 bosses was a serious geek and quite a coder so there you go.
Although, the bosses were listening to some weird stuff from time to time with their office door open we managed to drawn that out with some Dream Theater.
I mean...isn't that the main function of a lie detector?..more or less...
I wouldn't like to be wearing that thing on my wrist while talking to my boss or a customer...
Well, the human body is already full of bacteria and other helpful microbes without which it wouldn't be able to survive.
We're not just "persons" we're mobile ecosystems.
Although it may sound creepy at first, if you rationally think it through a virus that "makes you better" is not such a bad idea after all.
Oh, I almost forgot, we are all injected with weakened viruses at some point of our lives so that our immune system will be able to form the right antibodies to defend itself when the real thing comes along.
Think of it like that...
ROFL! Best way to bypass the filter...ever...

I'm guessing AdBlock and/or NoScript are out of the question, huh?
...if you ask me.

So... in your country it's less expensive to store 4.7GB of pirated music than 700MB? Cool... xD
Get me in a room with these guys and you'll witness some blood, sweat and tears for sure...
(It's a joke)
...then read it and realize that it's still June (well almost).
disclaimer: i don't even own a cellphone (or a tv, yes sometimes you need to be disconnected)
Mr Charles Pitts, is that you?
wooooooooooosh!
Written by a programmer? Really? That's a first...
Just kidding, hehehe....

No seriously, this was the first thing my Project Management professor showed us...
And they've also added an option to disable ads on /. and I'm not a subscriber either. I already blocked them anyways...
Devil's advocate? Every comment here is already against the admins of the servers...
And you know this how? Oh the wonders of video editing...
Oh, in that case me thinks that somebody is gonna sueeeeeeed.
Erm...WTF? o.O

Or can the police kick down your door, seize whatever they want and when the court deems their actions as illegal they just say "Oops, our bad."?
Filter error: Don't use so many caps. It's like YELLING.
Yeah that's kinda my point...
Whoosh!
In my university the only thing you see on dorm windows is stacked bottles of beer. Seriously.
I'm still astounded by how unstable and slow Google's Android browser is. It's the main reason I haven't looked at Chrome yet.
There, fixed that for ya, come again...
... with NoScript enabled.
No I'm not bashing, I just went to the website with NoScript enabled and wondered why the benchmark didn't work for a sec...hehehe
