that the laws of our country create an environment such that being an independent entrepreneur or even trying to innovate becomes a task in federal paper work and bills. As far as I can tell, hes not even trying to manufacture to sell, but has already run afoul of red tape and bureaucratic question marks. Good to see government working for us, again. /sarcasm

Funny that this got modded up. Lets not forget that Obama made it a point to have the debt raised to a limit so that he could get past his own election.

The people in both parties should clearly not be trusted with any amount of money, seeing how recklessly they spend it. Why anyone would actually think it's a good idea to give these guys more money to through down the drain instead of cutting back what they already take in makes no sense to me what so ever.

As someone that has been doing this job for ~12 years, I can say with a high confidence that even if you are able to figure out what you need to do, be prepared for long days and LOTS of after-hours and weekend work. During the day, its going to be 30% research, 30% putting out fires and 40% dealing with users and developers. After hours, if your not working, you should be doing more research. You can adjust the percentages depending on the level of the staff and the quality of the network and systems your going to be supporting.

BUT, and this is a big but, if your even able to figure out what you need to do. This job is not just about the network, but the systems that are connected to it and how making any kind of change effects all of it. You will soon find that simply pressing 'enter' or clicking 'OK' can make your butt hole pucker because if it breaks something then your going to spend the next 24 hours trying to fix a problem caused by that action that "should not have happened."

Since when was taxation supposed to help keep the rich from getting richer and the poor from getting poorer? I thought self motivation and personal responsibility was supposed to do that?

Certainty taxes pave roads and all that good stuff, but lets be honest. If I was rich, I would probably be doing my best to hide as much of my money as I can as well. When you figure a lot of these people worked pretty hard to make that money, I'm sure its not a very enjoyable thing to sit back and watch the government take a huge chunk of it only to prop up the other 40% of the population that does not put in their fair share. Assuming you live in the U.S., that is.
