Wrong. Why do people here always pull shit out of their asses?
You can download the Flex SDK and compiler for free from Adobe, and if you like, you can buy the IDE from Adobe for about $250.

You're right about this. There are a few doctors and medical professionals in my family. It's really expensive to go to medical school and there is a big shortage of primary care physicians because it doesn't pay enough to recoup the investment of med school. If you go to med school, you're going to end up with 500k in loans, at least.
That part needs to be resolved first. This is how to bring down the cost of medical care. Simple supply and demand.
The couple of weeks before Valentines day is the easiest time of the year to meet women. Most single women WANT to be with someone on Valentine's day, so they'll be less "picky" than usual. Just go out to a bar looking well groomed and clean, and girls will be approaching you. Of course, you'll have better luck if you actually approach them rather then waiting for them to come to you.
Give me a break. We're comparing apples to oranges here. MS does small too.
Windows CE - Microsofts OS for portable devices. Requires 1MB of ram. Fits on pendrives, etc etc..NET Micro - Microsoft's embedded framework, for embedded application. Will fit in 64k of memory. The entire framework takes up about 10MB.
Games keep getting more and more complicated and more expensive but no more fun. I just completed Assassin's Creed over the weekend. I found the gameplay mechanic for Theif, which preceded it by over ten years, to me much more fun.
Sometimes small organizations don't have the infrastructure to put every single form online, it takes a developer and costs money. I recently had to fill out a bunch of forms, and there was no way to do it online. For these cases, it's a godsend to be able to type right into the PDF, save it, and print it out.
I wonder how the vendors are going to support another OS when they can't even get their stuff working properly with different hardware configurations on TWO operating systems (Windows/OS X). I can't tell you how many problems I've had with FireWire audio interfaces.
Once this hurdle has been reached, I am all for whatever open source audio stuff comes my way. I use currently Audacity for editing samples and quick n' dirty recording. Audacity WORKS but it's interface is mediocre at best and if you want ASIO support you have to download an unsupported patch to get it.
The sad thing is that the way alcohol is treated makes no sense.
This is sad but true. I myself was the victim of a completely unwarranted arrest. I was charged with a DWI when in fact I was sober. The disturbing part is even though both alcohol tests I was forced to take indicated I had no alcohol in my system and the drug test indicated I had no drugs in my system, the DA still decided to pursue the case. It's a numbers game. The PD's goal is to hand out as many tickets as possible and the DA's goal is to convict as many people as possible. It cost me $3,500 in legal fees, but finally the DA dropped the case.
I wanted to sue the town, but my attorney advised it would be a waste of time and money on my part because I was sure to loose.
This is the worst I've heard of yet. How about they try to fix the problem instead of a temporary fix? That and I don't see how this is actually going to save any money. They'll incur the cost of moving everything to a new location, rents at the new location...etc etc etc.
I neither agree or disagree.
It was clear to me, the poster is talking about congress and states and congress and corporations. To separate things.
The original story was actually dated March 31st..

Apparently you've never heard the phrase "good enough for government work".
Hey baby are you ready? I am going to transfer my hot files in to your USB port. Just open up that port and let me slide my hard drive in.

This already exists. It's called a water jet.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, can we move on now?
Karate Kid for NES!

Interesting, citation?
Heck, maybe the deceased person themselves wanted his or her account removed in case of death.
Guess they should have thought of that before they created their Facebook account. :-/
How far away do you think this would be useful? Would it work if someone had sunglasses on or closed their eyes?
A half hour? Why can't you just look up at the sky and see where the sun is and deduce where the sun is?

Should I stop development of Bagpipe Hero? I JUST got the rights from AC/DC for "It's a Long Way to the Top (If you wanna rock and roll)"
Have you tried harmonica hero yet? It's fantastic!

You can legally buy a real AK here in the states, but they're just converted to semi-auto.
You can get surplus soviet AK-47s for a few hundred dollars. The gun stores here frequently have them.
