The 'volume, proficiency and sophistication' of the attacks supports the theory that the attacks are government supported.
Interesting, that would lead me to the conclusion that its obviously NOT government supported. Maybe we need to model the US government more closely after China's.
Although this is still speculation, I wouldn't be surprised given what happened with the 802.11n upgrade. But, I would be willing to bet that Boot Camp will be free as part of Leopard. Sort of how the 802.11n upgrade is "free" if you buy the n-compatible Airport.
allofmp3 pays royalties. The RIAA will receive royalties from the organization that allofmp3 pays if they ask.
100% bullshit my friend. I work for an indie music distributor and we have exclusive digital rights to millions of tracks. A good 90% of our catalog is on allofmp3 and for THREE YEARS we have been trying to contact them and this "agency" in Russia to discuss getting royalties from them. They quite simply have never responded to a single one of our requests or even responded, period. It's a whole bunch of bullshit and I'm fucking tired of hearing uninformed idiots defend these people.
Most of the crap listed and the stuff posted by readers is the result of people being frustrated by OS X not doing something they expect, and giving up. But that's to be expected.
Anyway, there was one reader comment that I 100% agree with:
2. When powering down a MacBook or Powerbook it should be possible to physically close the screen right after having pushing the Ok button without having to wait that it completely shuts down.
Now if someone tells me there's an easy way to make that work, I will be both embarrassed and ecstatic (:
Try Flip3D when you have 20 windows open, and you'll get an obscured stack of windows that you have to travel through one by one
In all fairness, try the same thing in Exposé. Depending on your resolution, you will likely have to mouse over each window to get the title bar text as a description (which may not even tell you much) to get any idea what the window contains. I love Exposé, but I rarely ever have to use it with 20 windows open, maybe 10 to 15 max and even then it gets a bit sketchy. I'll glady admit that I (like most Mac users) have at one time or another opened hundreds of windows and used Exposé just to see the reuslts (:
You've obviously never worked in tech support. 95% of the population knows jack shit about computers, the internet, and/or contract language. If "covering their ass" is what they want to do they should administer a test based on the contract -- but it's far easier (and cheaper) to just enforce an arbitrary limit on age.
Prime Minister Tony Blair, vacationing in the Caribbean, briefed President Bush on the situation overnight, Blair's office said. There was no immediate public reaction from the White House. Bush is spending a few days at his ranch near Crawford, Texas.
I have one email address that gets tons of spam everyday, here's a nice random grab (:

Subtle.

Seriously, wtf?
Your logic is so astoundingly stupid that I had to read the post twice and THEN decide that it was waste of time. Now my freakin' head hurts ):

Georgette had no comment after the ruling, but she appeared surprised.
I accidently watched 24 once. I thought it was some over-the-top MadTV parody or something...

Regardless, allofmp3 can (and has) proven that they pay at least some money to the licensing agency.
Oh? Can you proven this!?

In your example Joe Schmoe is an ARTIST while Britney Spears is a PERFORMER. So, yes, the RIAA is trying to screw ARTISTS even more than they do now.
That was a lot of research and writing for a stupid knee jerk reaction to a rather simple and short-lived annoyance.
Hahaha I was just about to post this. Fuck you!
What team is playing the Raiders right now?

...the floating window is just annoying.
Amen. It covers up a portion of the comments and is just generally annoying to have dragging along. Why is this even necessary?
Think again.

I'm going to undo my mod here, but apparently it doesn't matter since ever other mod is a dumb fuck.
Windows is a vendor lock-in solution, and not many people like that.
Windows is substantially slower on most benchmarks than Linux and OSX.
Windows isn't a serious solution.
-bms20
Do you see the pattern here mods? No? I'm not surprised.
Organize a protest! I live in Toledo and I'd be more than happy to drive up sometime and protest this shit.

Our leaders hard at work, as usual (:
c) Is it really a good to drink the contents of a Coke can?
The contents of the last can of Coke I purchased were poured over the connections of the battery in my vehicle *shudders*
The best part is that this content will be made available by subscription.

The Zypad is a new arm-wearable computer right out of Futurama.
So it's pointless, except on rare occasions when it can used for completely random tasks to fill plot holes?
