  1. Re:My guess is.. on Steam Success Holding Up Half-Life Development? · · Score: 1

    Well, current Source engine is very modular and has seen lots of incremental improvements, see TF2, L4D2, Portal 2 - one would guess HL-EP3 or even HL3 would follow the same - but the new HL's are taking way to much long for that :) maybe they ditch it all and started a new..
    Or maybe not and Valve just hasn't enough valuable guys to go around and they all scattered around for the current projects - and the Half-Life 3 team is left with just the concept guy filling sketchbook after sketchbook:)

  4. Re:All in all.. on Tetris Clones Pulled From Android Market · · Score: 1

    The FPS concept alone - running with a gun in first person - doesn't give you much to start with, whereas the Tetris falling brick into places is more than enough - you just need to add tiny gimicks. Of course there can be wonderful exceptions but overall I think it can lead to stagnation.

    I do condemn however the lack of a proper free Tetris on the Android.

    Yes but the PC community struck back:
    * you could re-patch the game with the original Gamecube textures

    * custom all-new shaders

    All in all - the PC version ended up looking the most awesome:)

    So just because I can't afford buying a decent amount of games - I'm a gamer I just can't save and buy one game a month! - I must be shot down and denied my 'craving'? I never make any profit out of this but I do keep the chain alive by seeding as much as I can:P

    Also I pirate movies because - except the newest stuff - it is next to impossible finding what I like.. American Astronaut anyone?

    I recently saved and purchased a Wii - but I had to mod it cause there was no way in hell I could play anything decent on it - 4-5 games amounted to another Wii (including Sega Bass Fishing and EA Playground - which is fair to say are average or worse)
