I can just download one anywhere online that anyone programmed with visual studio and place it on my zune with no restrictions or ads or whatever.
Ads aren't something Apple forces. If an app has an ad, it is because the developer put them there. You will run into that same problem no matter the platform.
It is not additional software if I can't get a Zune without it. They are showing ads on included paid-for software, not additional software. Wouldn't you be upset if your TV showed an ad every time you turned it on or switched inputs?
SMS uses space in the signal that was otherwise unused. It is a free bonus that the carriers charge for because they can. Not text messaging is the same as text messaging.
Having recently installed Vista, 7, and Ubuntu on my laptop, I think Ubuntu was the most difficult. It asked things in unexpected ways and the timezone map was atrocious. I wouldn't say it was significantly more difficult but it was quite as easy as Vista or 7.
I can't wait for the Star Trek one after reading the seat belt gripe. Idea #1: Why aren't there seat belts on the bridge? It seems like almost every episode someone gets thrown from their chair. It happens so often in ST:VOY it should be the first modification they make to the ship.
What you did was just plain rude. It is like telling someone to check out this cool story on/. from 3 months ago but only giving them a link to the main page. If you aren't going to link directly to what you are talking about, don't link to anything at all.
There is nothing wrong with playing a CD on two devices. If you ripped it to both computers and different people used them, then yes, the RIAA would come after you.
Is there or is there not DRM in the OS? Your reply contradicts itself. You call BS on there not being DRM in the OS and then go on to state that there is, in fact, no DRM in the OS because it is retarded. Which is it? DRM or no DRM.
I'm generally opposed to raising gas prices to encourage conservation. Pretty much the only conservation I can do is eliminating a trip down the street to see my in-laws. The only other way I could save gas is by purchasing a car with better mileage.
Even worse, more idiots are getting on the highway in the right lane that you have to watch out for. What do you do? Drive slow in the left lane like everyone else or risk getting hit in the right lane? Hopefully there is a middle lane to choose.
I guess you missed this part: "But even when attacking some seriously hairy turns from deep in triple digits, the Veyron never gave up its grip. And when we almost blew it on a butt-puckering downhill double-apex, the all-wheel-drive system put power in just the right place to pull the car back in line."
I think you're going about it all wrong. If a cyclist is not blamed for running into an opening door, why is it the driver's fault if they do the same in a car? Ease of avoidance shouldn't be a strong factor in light of the fact that the door could open when you are only a couple feet away.
The old ui was kind of scary and hid some of the features. I was pretty good with the old interface but the things you could do weren't quite as obvious or easy to use. Just because I've got something good to say doesn't mean I work for Microsoft. They do get stuff right occasionally.

I believe the iPhone 3GS built-in compass app already does this.
You don't have to reinstall your apps if you upgrade, only if you do a clean installation.

You don't need fast memory to play music but it sure helps with high-quality video and graphics.

Spotty coverage vs solid coverage.
WTF does that have to do with the iPhone?

Of course Lenovo is not bound to the EULA. Lenovo is not the EU, End User. They have a different agreement/license/contract.
That only refers to the plug on the car itself. A 120-volt charger will be available that plugs into a standard wall socket.
Bing is a better way to google. You can google just about anything with it. You can even google Google!

AT&T will never get looked at as a monopoly as long as they only have 1/3 of the market share. That is nowhere near a monopoly.
What are you talking about? The rest of us are talking about possible pros/cons of installing Linux on this tablet and you aren't.
That sound almost nothing like what Gizmodo is reporting: "It'll land in October, to be exact, when we should expect to pay around $800 for it."

It gets confusing when people talk about motorcycles in a car discussion.

What do they need heaters for? Aren't they about to install thousands of them already?
