That's what they did with the tower of babel. They didn't have space all figured out just yet so they just gave everyone some encryption. Also, when the hubble came out, they didn't have deep space done quite yet. (They did, but it was having some rollover errors.) So they decided to break the mirror a little bit.
We have Micron and HP out here, so we are reasonably well connected. We also have a lot of less than technically inclined individuals. Putting the two together, I can understand why we might have so much spam.
Just curious, suppose two people plot to rob a bank. Would this plotting be covered under freedom of speech? They are after all, only talking. From what I understand, conspiring to commit a crime is considered illegal. Then there's the question of, when exactly does it become illegal? When someone says, "I wish I could rob a bank." or when someone else says, "good idea, let's do it.", etc. I have no real opinion either way, just curious what your thoughts are.
I'm noticing a trend. Zeppelins cause World War II. If we don't want another World War II, we shouldn't build them. World War II 2 would suck more than the first one.
But one of the biggest arguments against income tax is "Do you like driving on roads?" With a GPS driving tax how this argument is no longer valid. What are we going to do?!
I have done research similar to what you are talking about. I have exposed microwaves to a couple of generations of Homo sapiens. The prolonged exposure has been quite detrimental. Test subjects have shown an increase in weight gain, decreased health and several grotesque genetic mutations. Their diet has even changed from mom's home cooking to TV dinners. The population has changed so drastically, I have dubbed the new species Homo laziens.
The only sensible way to approach health care is to understand that we have created cures and treatments that we cannot afford, and the only way to have health care for everyone is to not have those treatments.
+1 uncomfortable truth
Having a cure is no problem, it's implementing the cure. Unfortunately, we know how to cure so many things these days, if we pooled together all of our resources, we just wouldn't have enough to cure everyone of everything. Sometimes we just have to let people die, because it costs too much to keep them alive.:(
What if you trip and fall on a sharp corner and poke your eye out? We should ban sharp corners! What if you trip and fall and hit your head on a wall? We should pad all our walls. Or better yet, ban walking or moving about of any kind. We should all be bound to soft beds. What if your teenage child is sexually attracted to a classmate? We should ban children.
We could play what if all day, but the point is, you can't keep everyone safe from everything all the time. You have to ask what freedoms are worth giving up for what safeties. I for one would be willing to give up a lot of the "safety" gained from our security theater for the freedom to get on an airplane without taking off my shoes.
On a side note, didn't we used to belittle commie's for being a "show me your papers" kind of state?
i bet a coke no one knows the root password...
You're on.
Here's a picture of the two rats involved
Why would the thermite need to be explosive? For a burning/smoldering effect, there's no need for an explosion.
Using a higher grade fuel will get you better gas mileage but it can also reduce your chances of breaking down. Disclaimer: I am not a car doctor.

It all makes sense if you don't think about it.

I want to hear the story.
Id kill to go to space
Would you? ... we might be able to make an arrangement here.

hehehe HAHAH heeheeeheeeheee HAHAHAHAAHAA!!!
*sigh* heh... naptime?... confrontational?... heheh.... I don't know where to start... hehehe..
*sigh* OK, I'm done.
I can tell you're holding back. Please, tell us how you really feel.
Really? I don't know where you live, but I haven't heard of many people who are born into families with money and then end up broke.
There are however many stories of people ending up broke after winning the lottery.
It's different. Let's destroy it.
We Didn't Listen!

That's how life started out -- free of commercials. People got greedy though.
Did you mean "Not all living things age"?

+1 uncomfortable truth :(

I wish I had mod points. This is some of the best advice one could ever take for just about any time in life.
Maybe it'll be sensitive enough to image extrasolar planets.
From what I understand, even Hubble was sensitive enough to get a glimps of a few. Surely this will grant us an even better view. *Holds breath*
What if

Name ten more.
