He signed up for day/night rates (versus the regular, flat-rate) to save money charging his car at night. He's got geothermal for heating/cooling/hot water.
Yes, that "which app" selection menu for the play store is gold. It doesn't even switch apps on you, just pops up at the bottom of the screen and hitting the back button on the phone cancels whatever link the assholes were redirecting you to.
I finally switched to Adblock Browser after holding out on my mobile after about the fourth or fifth time I got an autoplaying video ad on my 500mb cell plan.
I would just like to point out that one of the big CableCo execs a few years back suggested that yes, going to the bathroom during commercials is stealing (but they have "tolerance" for that, thanks guys).
If they've taken a page from Tesla (and they probably will have at 800V for the motor), then the only place they'll have to worry about insulating that voltage is inside the motor/inverter.
My guess is that they'll have about 250-400v pack and use some kind of voltage booster integrated with the inverter. The inverter on the tesla is physically attached to the motor so there's very little HV AC flying around the car, but you get the compactness benefits in the motor as you said.
I think you've been on the internet watching the echo chambers too long.
Most everyone who bikes also drives at some point in the US. I ride for exercise, and 90% of the drivers on the road are considerate, another 9% are "chaotic neutral," and of the last 1%, only a fraction are actively malicious.
The reason they orphan them after only a few months is because it takes so much work to update all their deeply rooted crap/bloatware. Beautiful hardware. But Samsung never met an OS they didn't feel they could pile enough garbage on to make it sink.
Unfortunately, Cyanogenmod doesn't seem to work with USB ethernet dongles so it's out for me. Worked well otherwise.
All the "flop flop flop" commentary... no one ever seems to have anything positive to say about it.
I had access to one of these "occasionally" when I was young and I would play it every chance I could get for hours at a time. Which was impressive, because the only game they had for it was the tennis game. Anyhow, I loved it and wished I could get one of my own. Never had any headache problems or double vision. The 3d certainly worked well enough to gauge when to swing at the ball as it was coming towards the screen.
Either way, I've got a short position on Apple's stock. There's no way they can keep milking the margins they are out of a single tech product... if I hear one more time how someone's iPhone only cost them $100-200...
My boss has a Fusion Energi.

Must live in a shithole.

That fish won't swim, monsignor.
Story tagged: crocodile tears.
I'd like one too.
I can't find anything about this.
Ford Nucleon FTW!
Hilariously I just did an "Ok Google" and read this gibberish to it.
It recognized it perfectly pointed to a slew of articles about Cortana failing publicly.
Hah!
Which ad blocker do you recommend that doesn't require root?
I've recently installed Adblock Browser (which is just a repackaging of mobile FF by AdBlock) but it obviously doesn't work system-wide.
And frankly, mobile Firefox isn't really as good as Chrome.

I use Adblock Browser on Android.
It's right there in the Play Store.
If there's not a kickstarter or some other fundraiser to buy this kid a whole electronics LAB in the next two days, my faith in humanity will be lost.

Oh man, I sure don't miss the reverse defrost feature.
Or the constant smell of gasoline fumes!
But I still miss that car. Too bad the cancer became terminal (rust in the front bulkhead).

Every vacuum I've seen is belt driven with plastic casing, making it a basic Van der Graaf generator.
I think you mean spellotape.
'Cause it's MAGIC!

Same reason I'm apparently carrying my Nexus 5 to the grave.
If the 6 is the best they can do nowadays, this thing better last a looooong time.
I also got a Tab S (8.4).

Have you tried Vivaldi?
I love Opera 12.x, but sadly it's becoming more and more of an internet pariah.
You do have to install the chrome extension in Vivaldi though.
I believe this type of allergy exists and it even has a fancy acronym: NIMBY.

This guy's building a nice homemade inverter/controller for a Prius A/C compressor:

This inkjet (in the article) costs $400, which they're touting as a feature (expensive upfront, cheap ink).
Don't forget, he went back to Microsoft as soon as it was in the crapper.
Almost like it was intended that way.
