Completely agree, however I don't mind when the change is for reasons beyond their control, ie, not money or scheduling issues. The Dumbledore change was because the original died:(. The Katied Holmes change is rumored to be because hubby Tom didn't want her to do the role. Maggie did a great job on the role IMO, but I agree, I hate when the actors get changed.
Uhm, you may want to re-read what you replied to. He didn't say that you had used a keygen, he said that your key had later been generated by a keygen. Finite number of keys + keygen = there will be points when valid keys and fake / invalid / keygen keys are in the same set.
They can dismantle it if they choose, and yes, it will invalidate your warranty. No different than driving through customs and having your car taken apart piece by piece because you looked a little funny.
and then there was SWotL, the game whose acronym sounds vaguely like it should be a porno:) I'd really love to see a remake of the game utilizing todays hardware.
Not to mention, that given the public outcry, the liberals and/or the ndp would love the excuse to pull down the gov't. Bad legislation = votes for them if the pc's try to force it through.
This isn't any different than the iPod boxes full of gravel that Target just recently got to play with. Assuming the box was brand new and not previously owned and repacked, there is probably a warehouse worker some place with a nice shiny hdd
Yep, a tax that some want to also place onto MP3 players with storage > 30GB. Of course, the CRIA just woke up and realized that this little tax effectively legalizes all music downloads in Canada, so now they're fighting it:)
The question is, how long will it be till US Americans (as per Miss Teen South Carolina;) ) start sneaking across the Canada/US border to work for better minimum wages here:)
Actually, it was just announced (here in Calgary anyway) that book publishers are going to be looking at their prices and adjusting them every few months (I think it was 3, but I can't find the link right now.
Hell, 15 years ago a co-worker and myself at a co-op job had a little contest between ourselves, who could lockdown their DOS based computer the best during the boot process WITHOUT relying on a bios password. Found quite a few entertaining little dos apps on the local bbs that could be run in autoexec.bat to trap different keystrokes, etc.

> What happens 5 years from now if you want to play Spore...does the authentication still work?
Screw 5 years, what if I install it on my laptop and want to play it while I fly from LA to London or any other starting and ending points???
Please don't give them any more lousy ideas, they come up with enough of them on their own, they don't need your help.
Except if you have the ability to call, you don't exactly need the search part of search and rescue ;)
Damn, you want to make the big lizard sick?

isn't that also known as microsoft?
The family has requested that it be a private memorial, just for them and those closest to them.

The word is ass-tunnel, not asshat ;)
Yeah, being the head of litigation, doesn't mean she's acting as a lawyer in this trial, so she is more than welcome to be called to the stand.
Naw, not an asshat, but an asstunnel

Gathering up more fantasy material eh? ;)

The scary thing is, it would probably propagate :)
The irony here, is that atleast in Canada, Viacom used to own Blockbuster :)
Nobody is forcing you to, I use that time to make popcorn :)
hmm, throw in another hockey team and you have a deal ;)
Personally, if it's a Compaq, I'd blame Compaq, not Windows
