You guys both need to go to an actual Verizon Wireless store and play with a REAL droid, not just the plastic display models that resellers get. The keyboards are worlds apart.
My very first thought when I heard the story about the police officer in California and his family dying because of the accelerator issue was "Why didn't they put it in Neutral and shut off the key?"
Even with the fancy fob, if you hold the "Start" button in, it will shut off.
Assisted parking is obviously designed by someone whose kid or wife or husband was backing into cars a lot and didn't want them to have to worry about it anymore.;-)
I've had more issues with ABS and Traction Control in my 12 years of driving than I care to remember. Worst of which was being stuck in my steep driveway in about 4" of snow for 10min. Traction control kept killing the throttle and I didn't realize it. When I woke up from the adrenaline-fused anger, I thought "Maybe I should switch this off?" and up and out the driveway I went in one shot. All because my 4WD was in the shop and I had to borrow my dad's Hyundai sedan...
Unless it's disabled as it is on my Touch. It was always replacing words with the wrong word because the abbreviations I used weren't in the word list.
(2) ABC already turned on the broadcast bit "accidently" for a number of shows in the SF Bay area, freventing them from being recorded by DVRs, last August.

Oh no! Now you'll have to watch it ONLINE! THE HORROR!!!!! *eyeroll*
I'm not a millionaire. Hell, I'm not even a hundred-thousandaire. I support the Fair Tax movement. Just because the "less fortunate" screw themselves with more taxes spending on their money on beer and cigarettes doesn't mean it's not fair. Besides, with their welfare checks, it's likely that the tax will be waived for them...
I disagree. My Sprint/Nextel bill is under $60/mo with unlimited direct connect, txt messages, mobile web, nights/weekends and something like 800minutes/mo for daytime. I never use the minutes. I always txt everything. It's all in how you make your plan work for you.
We had an Atari 2600 with a bunch of games, Spider-Man being one of my favorites. But by far, when I got online and found TradeWars 2002, I was hooked. I think that's the game I got into the most. Played with a team in a few tournaments and actually wona couple. I actually bought a copy and had it running on an old Win98 box with SynchroNET BBS software for a while until the hard drive crashed. I have a couple friends (whom I got hooked on it as well!) bugging me to get it back up and running! One of these days when I have some time...:-D

He's catering to whomever paid him the most to plug their product and deride the others. Simple as that...

'Affected' is correct. Affect = Verb Effect = Noun

My phone already does this and it is EXTREMELY annoying. In fact, all of my Motorola iDen phones with cameras have done this (i860, i870, i880).

What, you all don't claim that stuff on your taxes? That's tax evasion! You have to list all sales you did not pay state tax on and then pony up!!
It is good for 26 weeks and you can file for an extension if you still can not find a job.
Excellent point. No need to create a threat to your manager's position!
