    Number of PCs I support: 200
    Amount of time I've spent fixing "virus" problems during the last two weeks: 0 minutes.

    All our machines were patched long ago, and the firewall/exchange server AV catches everything else.

    Actually, if you want the group collaboration features you don't necessarily need Microsoft products. There are quite a few alternatives to using Windows/Exchange. This webpage has a lot of resources: Sharing MS Outlook

    Hey dumbass, ever hear of something called ROTC? They promised to serve 4 years. They served 4 years. They held up their end of the agreement, now it's time the Army stuck to theirs. If the Army is so "filled with people who want to be there," why are they preventing people from leaving?

    There are many, many soldiers in the miliary who do not want to be there right now. Let me introduce you to something called "stop loss." Soldiers who were about to go on terminal leave and be done with their time of service are told they must stay, for up to a year more. I have two very good friends who were about to come home...until 3 weeks ago that is. Both of them are Captains in the Army and both of them see this as an unjust and immoral war.

    As any GBA owner can tell you, the screen in earlier models sucked pretty terrible.

    Well, as a GBA owner, I can tell you the screen only sucks for 13 year olds trying to play their GBA under the covers past their bed time. For everyone else able to use their GBA in proper lighting, the screen is just fine. I love my GBA and have no plans to buy a new one because of the screen.

    I played EQ for a day when it first came out, but returned it after getting very frustrated with it. Glad I found free player-run Ultima Online servers instead of wasting my time with Sony BS. The right ones have a loyal group of players and admins who really care about the players. For a list of emulated UO shards, check out Top 200 My favorite has been The World of Dreams, currently #34.     As an example of their kind of humor, everyone on slashdot who spells Microsoft as Micro$oft should take a look at this penny-arcade comic [penny-arcade.com] and briefly consider if whether Gabe has a point!

    Actually, that comic is pretty unfunny. Using a tired, worn-out cliche to critique a tired, worn-out cliche is rather pathetic.

    Almost right. If the manufacturer is offering the extended warranty, then yes it's coming out of the bottom line so what's the difference. But if it's the retail store offering the warranty, you are getting soaked big time. Working for a large reseller, I know the margins on these warranties are ~80%, and the sales reps are told to push these hard: they make up any lost money selling an "extended" warranty.

    Maybe you can't read. There is no continent of "America" Your example of Germans calling themselves "Europeans" is worthless because there is a continent of "Europe." Coupled with the fact that the USA is the only country IN THE WORLD with the word "America" in it, makes you a complete ass.
