    In my view, yes, Verizon is being rather disingenuous, but at the same time "Company creates advertisement that spins information in a way that makes them look better than a competitor" is hardly news. It basically comes down to the fact that "3G" doesn't actually mean anything, so Verizon can say pretty much whatever they want.

    This is the same thing they did with their own service -- at one point they offered their "Custom DNS" service for a one-time fee. You can't get that anymore, but if you paid the one-time fee at the time, they've never taken it away from you. I'm sure they will keep the same thing for former EveryDNS customers.

    Actually a "truly free country" has freedom of association, which implies freedom of lack of association. If a company doesn't want to be associated with you, they can fire you, for any reason whatsoever. And if you don't want to be associated with the company, you can quit, too.

    Been using it since one of the early Phoenix versions (0.4 probably) in late 2002. It has come a long way, certainly, though not everything is good, as everyone's posts about "bloat" show. Still, I much prefer it over any other browser.

    I'm pretty sure they are sorry about that. I can't remember who it was, Paul Allen maybe? But one of the early MS programmers said once that he hugely regretted using / for switches in DOS 1.0. When they added directories in a later version, / was already taken so they had to use \ instead.

    I mean, if you're traveling, you wouldn't want your houses and hotels to go flying off the board, so the magnets would be pretty helpful. I'm just wondering if the Chance and Community Chest cards are magnetized too? And how do you deal with all the money? These questions need to be answered before we can truly say there is overwhelming evidence for magnetic Monopoly.
