    I listened to a sales pitch for a system from 3Com a few years ago that did exactly that. These systems seem to be slowly replacing older pbx systems.

    I think Linus is the original copyright holder, but much of the kernel code now is copyrighted by it's respective contributors.

    Ah yes, the "balanced drive" from Charles Sheffiled's "McAndrews" stories. He didn't use a black hole though, IIRC it was a very massive disk compressed by electromagnetic fields. The stories can be purchased in ebook form from Baen here.

    Actually, I believe ARIN (American Registry for Internet Numbers) is in charge of IP (for the USA).
    I imagine they would be the ones to initiate the change to IPv6.

    I'm running Galeon 0.12pre1. I tried your link twice and each time got a different popup, and it loaded with no problem. Maybe you should try updating Galleon and Mozilla on your system.

    Dare me huh? You got it, but then I run XFS. I can't reccomend running a journaling file system highly enough.

    This software is usefull for reading e-books on any platform that has .pdf support but no support for reading Adobe protected docs (i.e. Linux, *BSD, PalmOS, etc...).

    I, for one, like reading e-books on my Handspring visor, but this limits me to things released in (or easily converted to) palmdoc, or pdf format. This software would allow me access to a much greater variety of reading material.

    I don't know why EVERY single time a book is made into a movie there's a grumpy guy going "the movie sucked ass".

    This phenomenon is almost certain to be seen simply due to statistical laws and the size of todays movie viewing audience (i.e. anything that can happen, will). I think that it's exacerbated by the fact that when most books are made into movies they suck ass.

    If nobody complains when they see somthing that they feel really sucks, what will the movie studios and tv producers do? They will descend in an endless spiral of suckiness that will consume us all!

    I just realized I'm complaing about people who complain about too much complaining (complaining^3?).

    Show me a Palm device that has a color screen, can play MP3s and videos, can connect to a corporate network, has wireless options, records voice memos, and has large storage solutions and I'll happily eat my words.

    Sony Clie'. Eat up ;-) (actually I'm not sure it records voice memos, but it should do everything else). Alternatively you can get a Handspring Visor Deluxe to do all those things but not at once.

    More important? Personally, I don't care how "usable" somthing is if it doesn't function. Maybe, almost, equally important but never more.
