I can walk into Barnes & Nobles with my Nook and preview any ebook I want on their wifi. The entire ebook is available to me for preview while in store... completely free.;)
What about if we just concentrate on the actual game and its gameplay?
Because the real gameplay is being hindered by an always-online Battle.net system. Let's not forget a complete lack of LAN games, which was a primary path for many gamers of the original two titles.
I had two different third-party memory cards end up corrupted, loosing all my data on them. I figured it was just a fluke the first time, but after the second card did the same thing, I packed them away and only used my VMUs from then on.
I hear that all of the time, but I've not had any hardware related issues with my Dreamcasts. I own two and inherited a third from my brother a few years back. I purchased the first one on 9/9/99 and played the hell out of it for years, even putting it under additional stress with writable CDs. Damn it, the thing is still hooked up in the living room! It's the only other console in the house besides the Wii.:P
Again, it is like necktie products. It’s like being in an Apple store says, “here’s how I want you to see me. I’m here. I’m at the genius bar. I’m trying out the products. Look at me: I’m like the other people in the store.”
I think the interview is pretty insightful if you read between the lines. Apple devalues mechanically sound hardware and user freedom. Instead they focus highly on making their products shiny, flashy, and loaded with hollow marketing appeal. Their products are designed specifically so that the only reason anyone would ever want one is too be like those other people that they see using them. This really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who isn't drinking the Apple Kool-Aid.

You mean "downgrading", of course?
The streaming feature is a nice bonus, especially when combined with things like the improved Wii channel or PlayOn. That said, there are certain perks to getting discs in the in the mail that can't be beat. I rip and return my films the very same day, so I generally acquire three films per week for my back catalog.;)
No shit more testing goes into GM food than organic food. GM food is a freakshow that has unknown long-term effects for humans, animals, and the environment. Organic food on the other hand is food that is simply grown without tampering, the way it has been done for thousands of years.
That's just as true for the present though. Most people don't really know what's happening now either. Hindsight doesn't seem to make these matters any clearer in the face of propaganda.
Can you describe some other type of economy that would not result in the same outcome?
Move out of the cities, shed that suit and tie, try raising your own food, maybe even barter with your neighbors. It's really not that hard, y'know. After all, humans have been doing it for thousands of years.
It seems to me that the only animal population that is out of control is the human animal... Maybe we should think about initiating an open season on that to take care of your meat needs?
You know Raphael?! You tell that punk-ass bitch...
You know what you have without laws? Anarchy.
I wish we had anarchy! :(
That does sound like a good idea.
Finland, you say? Damn, do I ever need to get out of America. :(
Because it's not delivery... it's DiGiorno!
Ronnie James Dio is dead. I wouldn't count on ever seeing a real Black Sabbath album again. :(

Uh... They apparently are, didn't you read the summary?

No, you misheard. He said "Counter-Strike"... I'm not sure how you could have gotten "fun" from that.
I'll believe it when I see it!
Now if only the police could be brushed away by not paying a fee... :(
No, not Linux.
This is just a cover story. For beyond the giant penguins resides the Plateau of Leng, the long-forgotten city of the Elder Things.
Beware! BEWARE!!!
I don't want a civilized society however. That's what got us her in the first place.
"Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing."
—Robert E. Howard
That's not how survival of the fittest works though. ;)
A decent chest freezer isn't too costly, especially in comparison to the amount you'd surely save in the long run.
Your chosen path is admirable, but far from the norm that I spoke of. You must be more aware of that than anyone, though.
