  1. Re:I'm hoping they dont do each race as an expansi on World of Darkness MMOG In Active Production · · Score: 1

I dont know, I see mage as a real, get the first shot off first kinda toon, I mean if I turn the vampire into a lawn orniment then I dont have to worry much about him eating me. Thats why I think the real griefers will be mages, they dont worry about humanity, they only worry about their version of the masqurade. As for wearwolves, yeah those guys are just nasty six ways from sunday, but I think this MMO would be well served by allowing players to heavely customise their toons, and not making them stand out agents the human background unless you choose to. Its harder to grief someone if they all look like background NPC's

This levy saved the future of a friend of mine. He did use it as a defence in court that since he payed the levy on the cd's he buys and the HD's he used that since its done the time he thought it was alright to do the crime. The judge bought it because well its true, we have paid for piracy we might as well enjoy it. To be honest if we over pay a little into the system so much the better, it just give more fuel to the "But I've alriady paid for it" defence.

  11. Re:Can someone explain something to me? on Massachusetts Joins the Real ID Fight · · Score: 3, Insightful

I think the real issue people are having here is that you would HAVE to have this ID to be considered a citizen under the law. In otherwords if you dont have it on you then you arnt american and do not enjoy the protection that offers. Theres a RPG called shadowrun that kinda explored this, their were 2 tiers of socity those with SIN numbers that could goto and use goverment programs, welfare, ect. and the SINless who the cops could effectivly jail forever and no one could say anything. Think about some random homeless man, if he dosnt get his card and keep it on him when/if he gets jailed they can pretty much treat him as an illegal alien and kick this man out, despite having always lived in the USA. Your forefathers saught to create a land of free men, now, they would be slaves to a piece of plastic.
