If I suffer damages because some assclown(s) at a credit agency used these numbers ads if they were SSNs, I'd venture to guess that I have the basis for one serious law suit. Using completely bogus numbers issued by fuck-only-knows-who to screw with my credit rating sounds like gross negligence and punitive damages to me.

  6. Oh well on Sensor To Monitor TV Watchers Demoed At Cable Labs · · Score: 1

Thanks to the RIAA/MPAA and their ilk, I now find myself listening to a lot more, much higher quality music than I used to. That's happened thanks to a bit of research, indy artists and the Interweb. Recently I've found much higher quality and much more informative news content on the 'tubes than has ever been doled out by the likes of Fox, CNN or MSNBC. My TV gets used mostly for DVDs and a handful of shows these days. Shit like this is just going to drive me to once again find alternatives elsewhere, which so far have proven to be less expensive, higher quality and so forth. You want to see who's sitting on my couch so you can charge extra/arrange your marketing spam, whatever? Go fuck yourself. There is NO good argument for why I should allow that level of invasiveness into my home by a bunch of gredy slimebags. Yet another collection of overlords who think they control everything and can therefore dictate unreasonable terms. To the sheeple perhaps. GoodLuckWithThat. Not to me or mine. Go get stuffed. P.S.: Thanks for all the fish.

This has nothing to do with how "trivial" said screwing is, or how much money the author does or doesn't make from the damn plugin. It's a matter of trust and what the damn plugin was built to do. The author just used his plugin to do exactly what we all installed it to PREVENT. I (and apparently a lot of others) no longer feel that we can trust the author or his software since he's now stooped to the tactics used by the people and software his plugin was designed to prevent.

Personally I'm fed up with the "new" corporate mentality of entitlement. I don't owe them a profit. They need to actually earn one. I'm even more disgusted by the shills that think they need to be defended. Look, nobody at the cable/telco/whatever company gives a rat's ass about me or what I want/expect from them. Shame on you for expecting me to give a shit what they want or what their problems are. They're the seller and I'm the sellee. Their job is to screw me out of everything they can for as little effort as possible. My job as a consumer is to give them as little as possible for as much as I can get. If we don't work it out and meet somewhere in the middle, one of us is going to get fucked. Sorry, but given the choice between them or me, I chose them to get fucked.
