    The video editing becoming commonplace is a real killer on space! Especially when your family doesn't understand that raw video from the camera takes like gigs upon gigs of space! Crazy family! Stop filling my drives! I need space to download pr0n and anime!

    These "associations" you mention are our associations with rum and sailing! Pirates have bloodbaths also! They are usually preceded with the spell of powder and a rape frenzy. While ninjas are pussies and kill then vanish, pirates take their time because there is nothing to worry about, anyone that bothers our 'fun time' will be either put in the rape pile or the pillage pile.     I couldn't agree more. Rule #1 of slangin is to give em a free taste, roll the joint/pack the bowl/install the software for the customer. Currently linux isnt "free." It is free in monetary cost but the work needed to setup a computer with linux installed is still a big hurdle for new users.

    Yea but as we all know (i hope) word of mouth advertising is the most powerful form of advertising possible, and the cheapest. On top of that geeks are the ones that will rabidly praise products they like to anyone willing to listen to them talk. Those people that find the new and cool things are the ones that control the word of mouth networks.

Well back in the early 80's when I was like 10 or 11 I was usually hanging out in unprotected waters bringing down ships and raping and pillaging cruise liners gone astray, and holding oil tankers for ransom. With the money I made from piracy I bought an island and buried the rest of my money(which I turned into gold coin and gems (cuz gems are lighter than platinum and gold pfft! anyone who has rolled a 20 knows that!)
