Pardon me, but why did you start out bulleting your list with numbers and then switch to letters? I mean, you switched to the next logical letter, and all, but still, we do not count: 1...B...3...4...
I'm not picking on you in particular. This thing that people do has annoyed me ever since seeing Home Alone when "Buzz" is telling Kevin that Kevin can't sleep in his room. "Buzz" starts out with "A" and then goes on to "2". That's always really annoyed me and I wonder whether people realize that they are doing it or if it's a non-conscious thing. This is just the first time when I can actually ask them about it.
I got that same exact Antec, if I'm looking at the pictures correctly. (My name is also Andy, and I've got a tub full of LEGO in the basement...but that's just coincidence). I believe it is an Antec SX1030B (10 bays, 300W PSU, black), but it might be a 1240B (12 bays, 400W PSU, black), but I'm not sure. Anyway, it's a very nice case.
However, if you visit Newegg.com, you'll see that they have similar cases from Chieftech. They are missing PSU's, though. What I've read is that Chieftech makes the cases, and Antec just puts in the PSUs (which I guess are pretty nice.. mine hasn't caused me any trouble).
And to confuse you even more, I mirrored Andy's site when I saw it on memepool:
Meaning "double walker" a doppelganger is a shadow-self that accompanies every human. Only the owner of a doppelganger can see it, otherwise it is invisible to human eyes. Dogs and cats have been known to see doppelgangers. Providing sympathetic company, a doppelganger almost always stands behind a person, and they cast no reflection in a mirror. They are prepared to listen and give advice to humans, either implanting ideas in their heads, or a sort of osmosis. It is said to be bad luck if it is seen, and rarely a doppelganger will make itself visible to friends or family, often causing great confusion. Doppelgangers can be mischievous and malicious.
So, it's not CmdrTaco's fault that he reposted this, it's his doppelganger!
Thanks, I'll be sure to blame all of my faults on my invisible shadow self from now on and people will take me completely seriously.
Some of us only have wireless TV, so this (besides the initial story) is our first introduction to Mr. Brown. Sounds interesting, but not so interesting as to make us pay for cable.
As far as I know, this doesn't exist with PCI cards.
Problems ceased when I got a PCI soundcard. (SBLive Value in fact)
I'll second this. I never had problems leaving the "16MB hole" option off when I was using a Creative ISA card. However, I've never needed it for my SBLive! 5.1, either. This is on Linux...I'm not sure about Windows, yet.
Yeah, I know. I just meant something more along the lines of "is that the same Rob Hubbard as was mentioned in the comments in the song?"
(Yet another thing I miss from ST3/DMP. XMMS doesn't display the instruments.)
Oh well, a good song nonetheless. *ahaning fires up xmms to play it* Hooray, dearrob with 2.1 sound! As opposed to two crappy little speakers and an 8bit ISA SoundBlaster.
(BTW: I'm being very lazy here, I know. I've unpacked the lha and just get a file without an extension. Do I need a C64 emu for this?)
Would this be the same Rob Hubbard from dearrob.mod ? I never heard any of his music (AFAIK), but this song is still one of my favorites. Used to listen to it with DMP (shut up!) but now am relegated to the wimpy xmms. If only there was Scream Tracker for linux:-(.
(Actually, at first, I thought you meant Ron Hubbard and was quite surprised to see anyone saying anything good about him here.)
It's done.. I clicked the link and all I got was a note that the site had exceeded it's alloted transfer and this ad for Yahoo!'s porn-ad service. ("Yahoo! is exposing her to millions."? Uhhh.. okay.)
Let's consider two hypothetical people. One would answer 'no' to all of those questions, and the other would answer 'yes'.
Person 1: This person hasn't used, sold, nor seen illegal drugs in their entire life (to their knowledge).
Person 2: This person has used pot a couple of times. They've also sold a bit of stuff. So, they know what it looks like, how to use it, and what someone looks like when they're using it. They also know what it costs and what the dealers are like.
Which one would you want running around catching "bad guys"?
Personally, I'd want the second one. He would probably be able to spot strange things sooner than the other guy. The first guy sounds kind of wimpy, not like a police officer or FBI agent.
Perhaps that's what they're going for. Anyone that would lie and say they hadn't used pot when they had (since it's "the right thing to do") would be a liar, and thus unqualified. Anyone that was telling the truth wouldn't be very knowledgeable about the people with whom these agents and officers are dealing. And, anyone that told the truth and said that they had done one or more of these things would be both truthful and knowledgeable.
You might wish to mention the --limit-rate option for wget when posting links to large files on your own server.
For instance, wget --limit-rate=5k http://www.daedalustech.co.uk/gits-sac-trailer.mpe g
will download at about 5KB/s. Yes, if you've got a 250KB/s link, it may seem silly to "pretend" as though you've only got a 56k modem, but it's a bit nicer for the server admin and the hundreds of others that are trying to get to the same file.
As of 4:30 EST, I'm getting a nice 4.92K/s from daedalustech.co.uk on a 1.5Mbit cable. Thanks!
The link has since died, and the full movie is only available on special request from the FSF (a smaller(60MB) version is now available) or to FSF developers.
The video available wasn't even all that good. With the a/v occasionally losing sync, wierd artifacts in the video, etc. However, I believe these were chalked up to the Free software that they were using.
Oh well, just so you know. These guys have done worse;-).
I'd like to note that the sig comes from a webpage of a doctor who does no-scalpel vasectomy. Googling for the quote should bring up a link to the page...
I wouldn't worry (though, it would be sad if constraints are placed on the DVD), I'm sure that a truly open DVD is on the way.
Unless, of course, Goldstein uses the release of their DVD as a chance to give a big FUCK YOU! to the DVDCCA/MPAA and makes it CSS-encrypted and in region 5 (or whatever). However, given his stance on sharing ("We want to get the information out there. Don't ask if you can share, DO IT!" Paraphrasing, of course.) I don't see why he would want to do that to his viewers.
When using TP at "commercial facilities" (by this, I assume you mean restaurants, reststops, work, school, etc) it's usually that 10" roll of half-ply sandpaper that has great absorbance -- but that's about it. However, this means that you need to make your own multi-ply's. So, whereas at home, I may take 4 "sheets" of Charmin 10-ply Extra Smooth w/Aloe Vera and Vitamin B, I need 10 or 15 sheets of the half-ply stuff to even get near the usefulness of the Charmin.
I've thought before that they might as well use the nice smaller rolls since I use more of the big rolls since it's so bad. However, some people put TP around the seat if there aren't any paper seat covers available, which would be a waste of the good stuff. Also, this would require the custodians to have to change the rolls more often (it would also make them much more expensive since you'd need 2-3 cardboard tubes for an equivalent amount of crap paper.
Okay, I was really just curious.
:).
Thanks.
Oh, and yeah, "unconscious"... that's what I meant.
Okay, no more of this non-ontopic stuff
1)...
B)...

No, really, I'd honestly like to know.

Every petition that ever worked had just one signature on it once.
I'd suggest a sperm entering an egg.

The Internet Archive's first crawl of the site was May 08, 1999, if that helps.
Now, 90% of the show consists of sex between characters, petty bitching and bickering. The other 10% is the thin, weak story lines.
You've just described Friends!
As my mom says, "It's incestuous!"

You can see that one and more at the wi2600.org/mediawhore site here(61.5MB DiVX 3.11).
Actually, many of those look quite similar to the things the guy in the video is showing; especially the hub which lost power.*
* And the punchline is: "Well, we've fixed that. Now there's power on every port!"
Perhaps better would be to listen to listener-supported WBAI which is also the home of 2600's Off The Hook.
WBAI is located in NYC, so they're probably pretty familiar with whatever's going on.

Legal MPEG2/VCD/DiVX (take yer pick). Also, in the audio section, there are Shorten files from Etree.
Sure, it's not Spider-Man, LoTR, AoTC, or whatnot, but some of it is interesting and entertaining.
Ah well, at least it's not TOO popular!

What kind of fucknut bricklayer would make the loose brick low enough that the little boys could look through?
