Plain and simple, even though Solid State storage is getting much cheaper, a 4GB Flash drive still goes for about 15 bucks on NewEgg for a decent brand. Where DVD's with 4.7GB are about 50 cents each. Blu-Ray discs are much cheaper in comparison as well. So as awesome as it would be to see cartridges come back, it's unlikely.
Plain and simple. They want to control the information flow and cutting out Google is huge for that. Google loses out on alot of revenue. 35% of China is about 700 million people. Thats alot of money they will lose. The Chinese people will hurt the most though.
After reading the police report, she basically got charged for lying to the teacher and to everyone one involved. I'd be surprised if the judge doesn't throw this out. What a joke.
Its a movie under the genre science FICTION. The flux capacitor is a work of fiction. It was indeed an excellent trilogy but to me it sounds like the scientists are bored.
They don't really make money on the console itself. They make money on the games. If they sell the console for $450, they can break even on the cost of the console and make money on the games.
I could write a book of all the terrible tech support stories I've heard about Dell. As mentioned above, you should probably just call your credit card company and get a charge back. It's unlikely that your going to get the laptop now and even if you did, I don't think you'd want to deal with Dell anymore anyways.
He could make much more than $1495 recording movies in theaters. One movie would suffice. Plus how are they going to enforce the ban. Is every theater gonna have the guys picture around? "The man was also banned for a year from possessing any video recording equipment, even a video-capable cellphone, outside of his home." Again same issue, except maybe the cellphone. To me that's stupid.
You should always re-use code when you can. At first you thought you could re-use the code. Then you get Scope Creep. Another example showing why Scope Creep is bad. Set your requirements at the begining.
The Matrix has you.
..... wash their hands properly before using the drier it shouldn't be that much of an issue. But not everyone does unfortunately.
I agree 110%. I wonder if she even knew about it.
Yup. Should be Planet Ten.
An object in space beaming energy down to a planet. Sounds a lot like a Death Star to me.
Really? I'd like to know how many people actually knew what they were talking about when they saw the title.
Google is responsible for a persons stupidity now?
Lol...As soon as I saw the word nuke I thought the exact same thing.

Nicely done...could definitely be improved but that's a great start and a great hack.
That's gotta be the best one all day...

You know the economy is bad when huge companies like these three actually have to lay people off.

Well at this point it doesn't matter anymore so I guess it is acceptable. It should never have happened in the first place though.

Connecting a laptop to your TV? Cumbersome!
Cumbersome my ass, it's the same as connecting a console.

Awesome for the price. I want one.

Or it could destroy a person. Brilliant move here. They don't know the location of where it will hit....just brilliant.
Yeah...obviously this would need to be improved to be practical. But its cool none the less.
Than connect a USB keyboard as well.
