  1. Re:Who should really be concerned about this? on Passport's Pocket Picked · · Score: 1

Looks like my perception was a little distorted.
So if merchants are responsible for detecting fraudulent use, couldn't/shouldn't Microsoft also be held accountable (fined) for negligence by allowing a lot of credit card numbers to be easily compromised?

If you still got a bunch of lego dudes you can really save some money you'd probably spend on Warhammer troops and play some cool games. Last week I started working on a room in my house to be a Lego strategic gaming room. One thrifty idea for a battle area was takin an old bedframe and boltin plywood to it, etc. Heres a few links to some lego wargame sites for anyone else who needs inspiration or gaming rules or whatever.

I question wether or not this is what you should be trying to tell a 'newbie'. These types of issues should not be the end users concern and there is already enough confusion for many new users. This should instead be the concern of the people who develop the package systems and improve security methods, not the average desktop user. For the experienced, like someone else said this falls into the duh category. I don't complain about articles that are boring but this one is just wrong. Similarly, I won't tell someone to inspect thier engine for problems after it's installed by their mechanic, that is what they pay thier mechanic for.
